Cyrilca Handyman and Renovations

I had some dirt coming from under baseboards in my mudroom. I removed baseboards to find out that the bottom of the wall is rotting and the dirt is coming from outside. The root of the problem required partial disassemble of the deck as it was covering the outside of walls. I called Cyrilca Renovations for help. Kevin disassmble the deck and showed me water damage along the bottom of the exterior wall. likely from years of accumulating rainwater due to inadequate gutters. I comissioned Kevin to do the following:
1) Remove siding
2) Replace rotten parts of the exterior wall
3) Replace insulation (Kevin suggested sprayfoam as it doubles as a vapour barrier)
4) Reinstall siding
5) Rebuild removed part of the deck.

The job was completed as asked, and it seems a good job as I don't see any more dirt coming inside, and mold stopped appearing inside where there were rotten parts in the wall. Thanks Kevin and team!

Kevin and his team did a fantastic job renovating my bathroom. I had a fairly new bathroom, yet decided to upgrade insulation thus walls and features were removed. I indicated to Kevin that I am on a budget, and want to reuse all faucets , shower cabin, and accessories. Guys did a wonderful job drywalling, painting,reinstalling, and reconnecting everything I had.
Kevin also suggested and made a lovely shelf in between studs on an inside wall, wery handy for keeping few extra rolls of toilet paper.
The service was friendly, and completed on time and within the quoted budget

The $340 is approximatly, I did not have time to look the bill for the exact cost. He put three pieces of furniture to gether a bit expensive but good work.

Kevin was flexibile with his timing which was great with our schedule. He was able to fix an issue another contractor left. m He was on time and was able to do a proper job vs. what the last contractor left for us to figure out. I would recommend Kevin.

Kevin told me that my house was a disaster waiting to happen with a live current running throughout my house even with the main breaker off. I then hired a certified electrician who informs me that is not the case. Therefore not only did Kevin not install a timer or the garage outdoor lights but charged me $120 for one hour . Kevin informed me there is a minimum charge for a job. When I asked how much he charges before the job he emailed to say $65 per hour rate. Makes me wonder the motive. As you continue the review .. the ESA did an unannounced inspection and the house passed with flying colours with no safety code concerns , be warned . So did Kevin offer to come back to start the job at least with the timer and the garage lights knowing the house is and was safe ?

I was so pleased that Kevin was able to complete a number of small jobs around my home as well as repairing a bedframe. Kevin arrived on time and got right to work. His prices are very reasonable and good value. I highly recommend Cyrilca Handyman and Renovations. Great service. Thanks again.

I called Cyrilca Handyman and Renovations when I moved to the Georgetown area and needed some work done. Kevin ran a water line from my sink to my fridge in order for the water and ice maker to work. He ran that line in a thicker conduit so that my kitten couldn't chew through it. He also covered up a hole in the drywall that this kitten would sometimes go inside..

He was quick, clean, punctual, and extremely friendly. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a home improvement professional.

Kevin did such a fantastic job. He was honest, punctual and went beyond what was expected. He also gave me suggestions on how to maintain the lawn. Five star service!

I'm so glad I found Kevin to reinstall a lighting fixture on my garage ceiling. I was impressed that he took the extra step to make sure it was secure by affixing 2x4 boards onto the ceiling struts before mounting the light.
Kevin was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him again for future repair jobs.
