The silicon in the shower area was moldy and need to be redone. As well the bathroom floor grout was yellowing so Cory cleaned it with a metal brush and baking and hydrogen peroxide. It looks as good as new. The bathroom looks brand new!!!

I was very happy with the job Cory did.

Cory worked his magic again and made our kitchen tile look wonderful. As it's an old home, there were areas that needed ramps for every walkway into hallway, washroom, outside and basement flush. It was done to perfection. Cory also order a matching vent for us and it was perfect. If you want attention to detail and someone who knows how to tile intricately then use River Reed!

We hired Cory to do a major renovation on our small, almost unusable upstairs bathroom. It required significant work (structural, HVAC, electrical) and Cory made us feel confident he’d be able to handle it and get most of the work done while we were on vacation.

We liked his friendliness and confidence and the attention to detail in his quote. We didn’t ask for any other quotes and just went with him.

This was a big job in an old house and it was not without its hiccups. Cory handled them all professionally and it never felt like we had to deal with it or worry about it. As two working professionals with small kids this was a relief.

Cory was also flexible to let us do some of the work (demo/painting) ourselves which we appreciated.

The end product was beautiful and function, especially considering what a small space it is. We love our new bathroom and would recommend Cory to anyone!

We recently hired Cory to instal a backsplash in our mostly finished kitchen. We are so glad this project was in Cory’s hands as there were many challenges that benefitted from his meticulous manner and attention to detail (weird kitchen layout, shelves he had to tile around and lots and lots of wonky tile). We are really happy with the results! Also want to note that I had a great experience coordinating with Cory in advance of the project (dealing with tile orders and delivery etc.) and will be sure to call on him for our next project.

We had a crack in our bathtub, which turned into a hole, and we needed it fixed. The bathroom itself was a bit dated, so we wanted to do a few minor upgrades, too. We were referred to Cory by a neighbour, who was singing his praises. Cory came by to provide an estimate, and also helped patch up the hole in the tub so we wouldn’t experience water damage in the interim.

The work we ultimately got done was:
> New bathtub installed, with new tiling on the floor & walls
> Plumbing and venting brought up to code
> Bathroom waterproofed
> New vanity and lighting

Cory set a new, higher bar of expectations for all of our future contractor experiences:
> He provided a detailed quote, including a full list of the materials needed
> The quote included some potential watch outs for additional costs that may need to be incurred, but only confirmed after the demolition work began (some of these were needed, and it was much less stressful having known about them being possibilities up front)
> Cory project managed the entire renovation, and handled the coordination with the plumbers, electrician, and roofer
> When we encountered unexpected problems (e.g., the previous owners didn’t plumb the bathroom to code), Cory took the time to answer all of our questions, and helped us through the decision making process
> When the other contractors were doing their part of the work, and Cory had some downtime, he helped us fix a few other things around the house

The quality of Cory’s work is impeccable. It’s clearly obvious that he takes care and puts a lot of effort into doing a quality job. Our trust battery with Cory is fully charged. He is also a truly wonderful person, and was a real pleasure to have in our home.
