Cabinet Renew

Our kitchen is our families meeting place. But over 30 years our Honey Oak Cabinet doors needed a facelift. Looked at DIY, painting on site and outsourcing it. The best decision we made was to have it done by a professional. Jason at Cabinet Renew was responsive, provided options and listened to what we wanted done. After looking at several companies, we found Cabinet Renew to be the best value.
The end result of the our cabinets is amazing - it's like having a new kitchen for the fraction of the cost of replacing it.. The cabinet doors were not only painted (with proper prep: decreasing, sanding, primer and then multiply coats of spray paint), but several cabinet doors were repaired where they were gentled used. We needed new floors in the kitchen and family room and decided that if that was to be done we should paint the shaker style wood cabinets, new backsplash and counter.
Turned out great! Jason was very friendly and professional.

To get the job the owner was on the ball and willing to please. After the Kitchen cupboards were installed there was an issue of peeling / cracking in one of the doors. The rework took a long time, then after 2nd application the door had again peeling and cracking. Ultimately the door had to be changed....then the true lack of service to the end of a job came through. Communication began to lack, dates were given, then said oh "no that wasn't the timeframe", then basically we were told "well I am on vacation...I will get to it when I am back" and no follow up was done on their part...he made us feel like we were bothering him. The project started in Feb and end of Aug a replacement door installed - which is not even close to same material of our original door. HORRIBLE SERVICE and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE :(

Jason was great to work with. We moved into a new house and wanted to update the kitchen cabinets to suit our style. Pictures show the before and after cabinet colours.

Me and my husband met Jason at this spring Newmarket home show. Soon after that we approached him and requested a full service that included the following: remove doors, paint the cabinets interior and frame, clean old paint from doors, close old holes for handles, repaint doors, install new door handles and knobs, installed new hinges, and installed back the doors. Jason was helpful with everything including providing the new handles at a lower price than the price in the store.
Everything went very well and now we are happy that we preserved our old doors that we like, and we are very appreciative of the excellent job that Jason did.
We recommend him highly.

Amazing customer service, awesome job - my kitchen looks brand new and every detail was taken into consideration. Price was well within our budget but the customer service was outstanding!!!

I was really eager to change my old school tan wood cupboards into white for the longest time but I was overwhelmed by the possible cost and options. When I investigated getting them sprayed I was pleasantly surprised at the cost and Jason was very patient and prompt in answering all my questions, which made me feel more confident in moving forward. The doors do NOT look painted they look like BRAND NEW DOORS! Super thrilled by the end product, Jasons honesty, professionalism and customer service! Thank you Jason and Cabinet Renew! Met Jason at Newmarket Chamber Of Commerce spring home show abs he answered some questions on spot. Not too long after we followed up to get a free quote and response was very quick. The nice thing is there are varying options available if you are a bit more of a DIYer or happier to hand it all over to the pros. Options include doing your own cabinet door removal and/or reinstallation or doing g your own painting of trim etc. or having them do it. While we took our time getting back to Jason, he was very good at keeping in touch with us (and very patient). We chose to do our own door take down and put up and have Jason paint the trim (so much easier with a 2 year old). He brought by a sample of a finished door so we could see the colour and finish. Picking a date for door pick up and painting trim was super easy, Jason was very flexible and again very quick to respond to emails. He responded right away to any questions we had on prep for removing doors and painting. All went very well. Doors took approximately 3 weeks to be returned, I think they actually came back a little bit earlier than scheduled. Jason left a bit of touch up paint for both trim and doors in case we needed to touch anything up in our diy re-install. Note that we have a small kitchen so DIY reinstall did not take long for us. End result is awesome, we kept it simple and chose white and are very happy, however I know there are many other custom color options available. Very glad that our old cabinets could be renewed since they were still in good shape! Highly recommend working with Jason and team!
