I chose Toronto General Construction to replace my roofing. Im very impressed with their job very satisfied fast and reliable and even when it rained it did not affect my roof highly recommended.

The team at Toronto General Construction did a fantastic job on my roof repair. On top of the excellent job that was done, the price was so reasonable that I was able to save money. During the heavy rains from several weeks ago, our roof at the back of the house started to leak again. Truth be told, we had it superficially fixed back in 2011, and were now reminded by the sight of a dripping ceiling in the kitchen area that patchwork was not the right solution. Homestars came to rescue as we read through TorontoGeneralConstruction's stellar reviews: enter Nick, the owner, who from the very first conversation over the phone was extremely accommodating and helpful. After sending him pictures as instructed, he provided us with an estimate and a couple of options. In spite of his busy schedule, not only he committed to the job, he also showed up at our place as soon as weather permitted over the following weekend, when he confirmed the original estimate and scope of work. In all, we decided to properly install new flashing at the back in order to weatherproof it. Moreover, Nick's onsite inspection revealed a damaged vent and the plywood underneath which we also replaced at the same time. Nick is a very generous person and comforting to deal with. His work ethic is outstanding and only matched by his dedication to customer satisfaction. To top it up, Nick graciously offered us a free roof tune-up (including detailed inspection and caulking). He then followed-up to ensure everything was fine as rainy days continued on and off; his service warranty is a welcome addition to the package. Given his subject matter expertise, he earned the top position as the go-to provider for our household renovation projects. Thank you again Nick, we are looking very forward to working with you in the future!

Nick was very professional, came early, finished on time and did excellent work. I recommend Toronto General Construction if you have anything wrong with your roof. Excellent Service and Work!!!

We bough a house about 2 years ago in the beaches area.
We had a leak in my daughters bedroom and I was forced to hire a company to fix the leak because I sure couldn't do this myself as I am not a handy man..

I called a company to fix the leak and they ended up charging me $1700. What a ripoff because the leak never was fixed and I was sure this was just some sort of fast money grab hence the reason why I use review sites from now on when I call anyone for home repairs.

I AM VERY VERY GLAD I CALLED: Toronto General Construction for a free estimate. They spent about 40 mins to look at the roof and educated me on roofing and what the problem was with regards to this leak I had.

I used Toronto General Roofing because Nick who is the owner got back to me within 10 from when I called them and he educated me on roofing which no other company I called was experienced enough to educate me on what the actual problem was.

I will be using Nick from Toronto General Construction from now on and I recommend them with 10 stars and I will also be referring them to friends. These days you have to watch who you hire and I can honestly say that Toronto General Construction is one of the best companies I have ever hired for service, support and price. Thanks Nick!!!!

I had some damage to my daughters bedroom, due to water getting in behind the drywall and floors which eventually turned to mold by the time we realized. I found Torontogeneralconstruction and gave them a call. I spoke with nick, and he came by for an estimate the next day. He was very knowledgable and really seemed to know allot about what was needed to be done. i gave him the contract, and they started work the next day. Nick, and his crew were great. They finished the job fairly quick, and answered any questions or concerns I had. I would definately use them again or recommend them to anyone who needs to have work done. I felt money was well spent, and Nick, and his crew were excellent. Very satisfied. Two thumbs up.

I was looking for a contractor to do some renovations. I had to build a new wall, and I had some water damage and needed painting, and a few other things. I had a few recommendations through some friends and gave them a call. A few of the company's were busy and another one did not sound as they knew much about construction. I came across Torontogeneralconstruction, and decided to give them a call. I spoke with a guy named nick, and he told me he was a little busy, I told him I needed it done ASAP, because of the water damage. He was amazing on the phone and came out to see the job the same day. He really seemed to know what he was talking about and gave me a quote. He was a little higher than a couple of other quotes I got, but the way he rushed over, and the way he spoke about the job, I decided to give him the contract. I must say I am so glad I did, Nick and his crew were amazing. They did the job surprisingly fast, and the quality of work was excellent. They were very knowledgable about what needed to be done, and very helpful throughout the whole job. I would recommend them to anyone looking for general construction. Very very pleased with the job.

As I recently became a first time home owner, I had the daunting task to reonovate my basement. I chose TorontoGeneralConstruction because they were under priced in comparison to many other construction companies that I contacted within my area. I am so glad that I chose TGC as they were very punctual and honest from the beginning. The job site was kept tidy and on shedule the entire duration of the reno. The ideas and designs from Nick and his team were executed flawlessly. TGC is such a well presented and loyal company that I will continue to use as I complete projects around my new home!

Both skylights were leaking into master bedroom. We found Torontogeneralconstruction on home stars. We read their good reviews and decided to call them for a free estimate .
They came inspect the leak and fixed it the same day temporary . Two days later they came back and replaced skylights. They did a great job at a very reasonable price . I would definitely recommend this company for any home improvement project.
