Maydone Appliance Repair is professional, reliable and got the job done in good time. I contacted Viking Appliances originally to ask for their recommended repair companies. Of the two they recommended one has dreadful reviews online and the other has none. I decided to contact Maydone based on excellent reviews on HomeStars.

Repair person arrived on time, assessed the situation and let us know he would have to schedule a follow up as the job required two people. They came back the next week and finished the job well. Oven now works.

It is crazy how expensive appliances do not stand the test of time and how expensive they are to repair. This is not a negative reflection on Maydone but it is of the appliance manufacturing industry in North America. As I understand it, most home appliances are built to higher standards in Europe. Here in North America, it feels like they are not built to last and that the manufacturing industry is complicit in creating unnecessary landfill and excessive costs to consumer.

We will not buy Viking appliances in the future - too high cost and they don't last.
