I chose Altin from My Plumber to replace my three old toilets because he had good reviews on Homestars. He did not disappoint. He was on time and did the job with a helper. They was fast and efficient and they cleaned up after the job. I would highly recommend him.

Altin is just the best. Super easy and straightforward to get a quote from and book with, had a thorough phone chat and a few messages over text. Was very cognizant of COVID and wore a mask the whole time. Was extremely punctual, tidy and friendly.

Work-wise he was quick and thorough, and made sure to explain what he was doing every step of the way so I knew why he was making the decisions he made. It felt great to be kept in the loop. He was really thoughtful about the way he approached every problem as well. He also made suggestions of easy small jobs he thought I'd be able to tackle myself rather than charging me, which was much appreciated.

At the end of the day, one of the problems was unresolvable through no fault of Altin's, but he knocked a chunk off the original quote anyway.

I'm aware he does much larger and more complicated jobs than ours as well (just read the other reviews). I wouldn't hesitate to call Altin to work on any plumbing job we have in the future.

I contacted Elton yesterday about a leaky toilet issue; he was very kind to offer me a step by step guide to fix this issue just so I could save some $, but I preferred to hire him. He was on time, his communication skills were above par, and he was intelligent in how he went about with problem solving. I am glad, I now have a 'go to' plumber.

Altin was the first plumber to fix our issue in the condo with honesty and with so much professionalism. I was most impressed by his thoughtfulness - post fix clean-up, communication and detailed explanation. He called us before 30 minutes before and was on time and fixed our issue. We will be using Altin for our future work!

Recently, we renovated our apartment and among the contractors to do the job we had the pleasure to have Altin as our hired plumber in our place for the first time. Altin is a very dedicated professional with vast experience in the industry and very meticulous. He completed the plumbing work throughout in our main bathroom and a relatively minor repair of the kitchen sink. He made all necessary connections for our new shower and installed the new vanity with all elements associated. We are very happy with the job he did and we recommend him to everybody who needs a repair, upgrade or new plumbing job at home. Altin is fast in what he does and pays attention to details. He is an open person, reliable and has very keen sense of humour. Briefly said, he is a great person and very competent professional. I worked with Altin 3 months ago during the construction of our bubble tea shop. The space was previously an office, so to turn it into a restaurant required a lot of plumbing work to make water supply, drainage, kitchen sinks and a number of equipment work properly according to the Ontario Building Code. We only have good things to say about Altin. Even before signing him up with the project, Altin has been so gracious and professional during the consultation and estimation period and didn’t mind coming to the site a few times before we finalized. Apart from being very professional, Altin took his time to explain things to me whenever I have plumbing questions and I never felt hurried whatsoever - he even drew a diagram to make it easier to understand. He also happens to be a very nice guy and very chill. He’s also very knowledgeable in his trade, reliable and always on time.

Altin takes pride in the quality of his work. One can tell (I can tell), looking at his work that he does it with great care and dedication like an artist would to his art. That is why we passed all three stages of the city inspection with flying colours - the inspector didn’t find any fault at all. Which helped save time and money. He was always there during each inspection and answered all the questions from the inspector. He even tackled a tricky pipe installation due to structural constraints where the dishwasher drain pipe goes up into the ceiling and back to the floor again and down into the drainage. It may sound easy but it involved more technical knowledge to make that set up work. That was the part that had the most questions asked by the inspector, but Altin satisfied all the requirements and made it work.

Above all the good things mentioned about Altin, the thing that impressed me even more is how he went out of his way to do something that was outside the scope of his work just so we can finish the project on time.

Altin is definitely 10 out of 10, and just like all the other happy customers who left their reviews I very highly recommend Altin.

Guys, if you are reading this, I can't recommend anyone more highly in plumbing service than Altin and his assistant Elvis, they were so professional, I couldn't even be happier with the work they did. They discovered that my sink didn't have the right strainers for the pipe and went out of their way to rectify that for me plus additional pipes since my dishwasher was relocating. They did a million dollar job in making sure the pipes from the dishwasher don't interfere with my cabinet space and they were so friendly and entertaining. It was such a pleasure to have them work on my utilities, I can't ask for more!
