Bci Landscaping

When we decided to makeover the back yard Barbosa Contracting was suggested to us. While we met with several companies, once we met with Keith we knew we wanted to work with him. He listened to what we want and made several suggestions to enhance the project. Once we decided the project was scheduled and completed pretty much as planned. Weather related delays were the only issue. The crew was great and explained options clearly when things needed to be decided. We are very pleased with the outcome.

We started looking for a contractor late summer and we were fortunate enough to meet with Keith. Great recommendations and attention to detail.
Unfortunately things were delayed due to supply issues but in the end Keith and his crew did a great job. We love the look and have had lots of compliments!

Worth the wait!

From the first day they arrived I was confident that we made the right choice. Keith and Derek were very inviting to having us involved in every aspect of our project. Keeping us informed on every step to providing amazing new ideas as we progressed. These guys are incredible hard workers and very knowledgeable, professional and respectful of your property. They started every day on time which was important as weather conditions are crucial at this time of the year. We got more excited by each day as we watched the incredible transformation of our project. The end result was over and above what we envisioned thanks to Keith and Derek's constant determination to ensure 100% SATISFACTION. They are only happy and content when the job is done and a smile and look of awe is apparent on the homeowners face. My neighbors and random people in my neighborhood constantly mention how beautiful the property looks after the project was complete. These guys started out as my contractors and have now become my friends....that's their reputation and believe me when I day this. Some of the nicest people that I have had the pleasure of working with. Coming from a fair bit of knowledge is this industry I can honestly recommend BCI Landscaping to others who are looking to transform their properties. Look them up and call them and see for yourself. Guys....thank you very much for an incredible and beautiful job and for the amazing time and fun we experienced. Thank you Keith for your constant loyalty and ideas. Keith, Derrick and their crew did an amazing job with our backyard, walkway and front porch . We now an amazing backyard we can finally use . Their team was always came bright and early and was professional. Their crew was very clean and made a point to show me every day what they had done. They even set up my lights around the backyard and our fire bowl . Also made sure I knew how to use it. Amazing job by BCI Contracting!!

Back patio levelling- edges not secured all the way round. Loose stones at some edges, trippers. Other edges sinking after less than a year. Did not replace planters properly on the patio they levelled. One had a patio stone underneath so couldn’t plant anything without removing it myself. Other one didn’t put the stones back properly so there is dirt on the patio. Front sidewalk looked amazing for a few months until it started sinking and the polymer cracked. Keith installed damaged stones on the front step. Promised to return to replace the 4 defective stones and seal the front step. Waited months as he said he was too busy. Replaced one stone and then said it was impossible to remove the others. Promised to return to seal the front step and fix loose stones on patio May 28. Now October 16, still no show and in the meantime other stones are sinking. Found pieces of the 1 replaced stone hidden in a flower pot and a pail in my garage. I have since hired a more reputable landscaper to repair the shoddy workmanship as I have lost faith Bci can deliver a quality job.

Derek, Keith, Sheldon and Fiaz did a fantastic job recreating our porch area and backyard. Derek came to give us a quote and was our contact throughout the job. They were at our house every week day until the job was done, which we appreciated. They were easy to work with and offered creative ideas to transform our outdoor spaces. The price for the work was reasonable and we are very happy with the end product. Thank you guys for all your hard work! We look forward to working with you all again soon.

Work was finished August 2020, by November walkways started to sag and stones started moving. September 2021 and Keith still hasn’t come back to fix it even though he knew of the problem almost a year ago. I am not optimistic they will ever come. Great sales, but the mark of a great company is how they treat you when there are problems. We have been treated terribly. Once they get paid, you don’t matter any more. Pictures attached, the walk ways are so bad that in less than a year grass is growing in the cracks.

The issues described and the photos attached were of the driveway walk way between the sidewalk and house. This area was not touched by the civil work on the boulevard. BCI did come back to replace the boulevard and installed the stones incorrectly there too, and they were getting paid by the city for this work. New pictures of the boulevard install added, had to get the city contractors come and fix the boulevard so they could pave the boulevard. The reinstalled walkway was so crooked I couldn’t pave like that. Response from BCI is typical, not taking responsibility for their poor workmanship.

BCI removed existing pavers, concrete slabs and concrete walkway. They re-built our walkways and porch. Awesome job! Excellent craftsmanship cutting and laying the new materials. BCI workmen were efficient, responsive, and catered to all our requests and work additions. We are so please with the transformation. We absolutely love our new walkways and porch and would definitely hire BCI again. R+V

Keith and his team did an absolutely amazing job completing the stones around our pool. The whole team always arrived early and were professional. Keith was easy to communicate with and was upfront with costs and expectations. The job was finished on time and the property was left spotless when they left. We are very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend BCI landscaping. Thanks again for everything! Can’t wait for our next project!

Derek and his team did an amazing job. Super professional, no short cuts and brilliant results. Left no trace, except a beautiful sidewalk. I am very happy with the finished product.
