The plumber came promptly, and saw that the leak would require replacing the whole basin faucet because there was no fitting to unscrew and remove (why would anyone install such a faucet??). He suggested valves for both cold and hot so next time we won't have to turn off the water to the whole unit. He then checked the shower and agreed that the head would need to be replaced but said he thought the diverter valve was working fine and did not need to be fixed -- there was plenty of pressure. He got my signed approval of the estimate, and went to get the parts, then returned and installed them, also unclogging the basin drain. He waited while I paid online (by e-transfer). My only reservation when recommending Drain King to others would be the price, which was more than I expected. But explanations and workmanship were perfect. I will certainly call Drain King again.

Horrible. I had a stuck shower cartridge and the tech told me he could fix it, but he couldn't get it out. Not only did he fail to extract it, he damaged my brass pipes in the process. Then proceeded to tell me that they have to break the tiles to replace the brass pipes and fittings for $2000!!! On top of that, he charged me $350, basically for doing nothing and damaging my pipes in the process. Now a small job has turned into a giant mess because I have to get the pipes and fittings replaced due to his negligence.

Tyler was quick, efficient and provided a lot of great advice for future maintenance. I will use them going forward.

I had a lot of water noises from the toilets and fridge. Drain King's communication and customer service is great, very professional. The service technician was a really nice guy. The reason for the poor review is that the initial 15 min estimate is free and then a full review to analyze the problem is $250 plus tax. Unfortunately, the technician nor his supervisor had seen this problem before and were really unable to help. The technician did not even bring a water pressure monitor. I did some research and the problem seemed to be related to air in the system. Following the recommendations online I fixed the problem. myself. They do not seem to have the experience.

Our Toto toilet was plugged and efforts with snaking, plunging, Drano, etc did not work. Turns out that it was a mechanical failure. We called Drain King after reading about them on the Home Stars website. They set up an appointment for us within a day (ours was not an emergency). They booked a time, sent a text reminder and then just before the appointment, they texted a photo introduction for the plumber who was enroute. Michael is a very personable plumber who enjoys being a plumber. He tried but when he discovered that the toilet could not be repaired, he recommended a replacement. We set up a follow-up installation appointment. The cost of snaking the toilet was credited towards the toilet replacement. He delivered and installed a new toilet. It's really great to have found a reliable service provider.
