Shawn was very professional from the time of our first meeting to provide a quote to finishing up the job. We are happy that the materials used were commercial grade. Shawn attended the job site daily to manage his team and was always available to answer my questions. He had to deal with a difficult neighbour which we worked together to resolve minor issues. He also accommodated scheduling time with our sprinkler contractor who had to do rerouting work. Thank you Shawn and your team for completing the project before the winter.

I would not recommend Shawn or have him do any further work, around my house because he does not honor his warranty.

Some erosion occurred in a section of the walkway. He said he would repair it after inspecting. Many months later, he changed his mind and accused us of causing the damage due to putting salt on the walkway.

We only used NON CORROSIVE (Calcium Chloride) Snow Melter on the sidewalk.

I had water coming up from the ground into my basement and Shawn helped me navigate through the different options. He was professional and punctual. Great communication and came in for some warranty work. Would recommend.

Shawn and his team were outstanding. They were patient with me, took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. I had to have a tree removed and AC unit moved for the work to be completed and Shawn took care of sourcing these out so that I didn't have to worry about finding these services. Very professional. Fida Restoration was contacted to install a new 30 x 15 concrete pad plus steps for my backyard that I've been itching to do for years. Had a number of contractors quote on this work and Shawn was somewhere in the middle of the pack of quotes. I decided to choose Fida because of the following reasons:

1) Shawn was very professional
2) Comprehensive in his quotation
3) Didn't cut corners and made sure the job was quoted right

After the job was completed, my wife and I were very pleased with the quality of work, attention to detail and professionalism of the Fida crew. I asked their crew to take some of the waste material from the 6" of dirt that was removed to backfill a deep swale to level it out and they were very cooperative and helpful.

The Fida team also cleaned up the site after they were done, a nice touch at the end to show their professionalism.

They stand by their warranty and I will update this review again if there was a need to call them back, and if they full-filled their warranty.

As for now, I am very happy with my new concrete pad and look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

When my neighbour and I were looking to build a concrete walkway between our houses and keep water out of our basements, we found FIDA and a handful of other companies on this platform. FIDA stood apart from the rest in terms of quality, price and professionalism. The team started on time and were very good at communicating with us all along the way. After experiencing a few unexpected hiccups with the external waterproofing material and with stormy weather, Shawn, Wilver and team were totally focused on getting everything done properly rather than rushing to end the project. We called many places looking for quotes before choosing Fida Restorations to pour the concrete floor of our oversized garage. Shawn's prices were comparable to most. The thing that sold us on choosing this company was that the owner, Shawn, was honest and upfront about what was and was not needed and did not try to sell us anything we didnt need. We were able to schedule the work within a few days of getting our quote. They showed up on time, were quick and professional. They cleaned up all their mess and left us with a completely smooth garage floor!

My porch and walkway had cracks and the paint was peeling. I told Shawn we did not wish to replace the porch at this time. Rout and sealing of our front porch and walk way, plus parge repair of our front entrance was done by Fida Restoration. They also painted the porch and entire walkway. Shawn and his team were professional and efficient . They did an excellent job.

We had Shawn and his team come out to pour some concrete over newly installed radiant heating pipes on an existing Slab.
His team was confident, experienced and very friendly.
As a contractor, these are important qualities. I will use FIDA restoration again.
