Egbert's Engineering was hired by our architect. Gerry came out and spent 2 hours measuring our property with the architect. He was courteous and professional and informed me we would need to dig holes around our foundationm (two small holes) to determine the size of the footings which I agreed with. Several months later, I received a bill for over $1,500. Gerry and our architect had over 3 hours of conversations related to our project which we were billed for (unbeknownst to us). Again, the conclusion was that we needed to dig holes and would incur further engineering costs. Very unclear what was discussed for 3 hours as in my opinion, the case was closed until the size of our footings was determined. Not at all worth $1,500 in my opinion. Proceed cautiously.
