Yevhen showed up the day after I contacted him. He knew what it was that was causing my fridge making this terrible sound, even before he opened it up to take a look at it. He was honest about what he could fix (the horrible noise), and what he could fix but it would probably break again (the ice maker - a known Samsung problem). Made it easy to decide to skip fixing the ice maker, and focus on the sound instead. And he was done in under and hour! Will definitely call him again if I have any appliance issues. Highly recommend.

Washing Machine inoperable. Yevhen came quickly, listened to the machine, identified the problem instantly and sourced the necessary part. Returned the next day and installed it. He is a very pleasant, clean and polite fellow , eg he carries shoe covers. I highly recommended him.

Yevhen arrived on time to diagnose the problem with our fridge (it would turn on, but not get cold). It was determined that there was a problem with the compressor and he suggested that it would cost less to purchase a new fridge than to repair our broken one.

Didn't know who to call because it was the beginning of the coronavirus when our fridge broke down. We called Homestars and they were great. Within minutes of putting out the request Yevhen called back and was over in under an hour. He was polite and immediately put slippers on when he entered the house. He explained the details and damage and suggested we by a new fridge and note waste money on a costly repair. Much appreciated. Would recommend him to friends and family.

My elderly aunt relies heavily on her microwave - the type that is installed permanently above the stove. When it suddenly went kaput I searched this site and, based on the great reviews I read, I called Yevhen. He was very polite, professional and came the day I called. He explained what the costs would be upfront depending on whether he could fix it or not. He arrived punctually, wore covers for his shoes and was very neat and tidy. He worked on the electronic board of the microwave and fixed it in short order. I was extremely satisfied with his service and so was my aunt. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon Yevhen again for any other kitchen appliance or for a washer or dryer. He does them all.

Again, we were not disappointed. Time as agreed, price as agreed, service EXCELLENT.

Initially I hired Yevhen to fix my existing dishwasher. He arrived the same day and after a thorough review he informed me that it would cost more to fix then to replace.
