Hojat Custom Cabinetry

We had Hojat Cabinetry design all areas of cabinetry for our new home we were building. The friendliness of their staff was amazing! They would even come to us late evenings for design meetings when we could not make it to their showroom. They were able to show us 3d pictures of each space with colours since looking at those stick drawings never made sense to me but the 3d pictures helped me see what we were getting and how it would actually fit into our new home.
The quality of the cabinets are wonderful, and the finish is stunning. We chose a Walnut door with this beautiful brown stain and when the light hits these doors, it is incredible! The installers were very knowledgeable and clean! We expected a mess building a new home but when Hojat was on the site, they never left a crumb! I would highly recommend this company to all of my friends and family.

My husband and I did a random walk-in off the street to Hojat's when deciding to go with a cabinet maker...and are happy we did. Our project was huge and very detailed to a French Country design, Hojat came up with amazing ideas and the attention to detail was impeccable. I'm thrilled with the one-of-a-kind unique custom furniture he has built to blend in with the rest of the design that brings everything together. I have already recommended Hojat to friends that are looking for quality and expertise in design.

Hojat Custom Cabinetry built and installed my kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and bar cabinets. The cabinets are beautiful. They are walnut laid horizontally. Everything matches perfectly. The quality is exceptional and the installers were very careful and professional. I recommended them to my neighbour who also used them and loves her kitchen too. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired Hojat for a high end "custom " kitchen . They were terrible. They had very few samples but promised they would produce a sample to our satisfaction. They could not consistently do a simple antiqued finish. They came to do a partial install without the doors as they had still not produced a satisfactory sample when the kitchen was due to be installed. They demanded $ 30,000 prior to delivery then only delivered a fraction of the product and sent an inexperienced kid to install who made many mistakes. Also all the drawers and hardware were the wrong size and the drawers were glued together rather than solid wood as agreed on. We told them to not to any more work then they tried to bully us into having them finish the work. We are now in litigation to get our money back. Terrible service and terrible product and terrible people.

We were very dissatisfied with this Company. We have done a small kitchen and chose them because they were a local family owned business, who manufactured right in Edmonton.Things started OK but quickly devolved with a couple of mistakes. They measured inaccurately or attempted to use standard cabinets in a corner and installed a corner cabinet crooked. When we pointed the problem out they argued and templated for granite anyway. Also, using standard cabinets, they ended up with an amateurish upper cabinet install that was far from either being symmetrical or looking professional. Although both problems could have been easily resolved at this stage, they proceeded as if all was fine and argued about the existence of a problem with us.When the granite arrived the error was VERY obvious. the cook-top needed the bottom cabinet gouged to fit in, and then the back of the cook-top was far from parallel with the wall. They tried to blame the house. It was absurd. The upper cabinets they said was the "design" that had been approved. After the installation stretching to four weeks they considered themselves done. We threatened legal action. After a series of interactions our kitchen is finally done 16 weeks after delivery of the cabinets. Even after their repairs, it has several amateurish fixes that nobody would expect from a "Custom Cabinet Company". Customer Service was abysmal and without the threat of legal action I feel we would have been abandoned with our crooked counter and mismatched cupboards. The treatment after the issues started was totally dismissive and in some cases absurd. Prior to the fixes they tried to demand final payment. This is a company to avoid at all costs. We had paid 95% of $20,000 and I am sure they would have walked away if we had not threatened a project abandonment suit. As it is, we look at our kitchen with a degree of disdain for the whole process.
