Fantastic Moving Experience!

I recently used Happy Endings Moving for my move, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service! From start to finish, Dallas and Travis exceeded my expectations in every way.

Professionalism: Dallas and Travis were punctual, arriving prior to the time and waiting to start right on time and ready to work. They were polite, courteous, and extremely professional throughout the entire process.

Efficiency: Dallas and Travis worked quickly but carefully, ensuring all of my belongings were packed securely and transported safely. Fragile items were handled with extra care, and nothing was damaged during the move.

Communication: Leading up to the move, Dallas kept me updated on every detail. This helped ease my stress and made the process go smoothly.

Price: The rates were very reasonable for the level of service provided, with no surprise charges at the end. I felt like I received excellent value for the money.

Overall, Happy Endings Moving and Dallas and Travis made what could have been a stressful day go off without a hitch. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, efficient, and friendly movers. You won't be disappointed!

Unhappy ending

Absolutely horrible experience. Labourers were hard working and polite, but that's where it ends. The poor guys were untrained, unprepared and only 1 of the 4 were able to speak to us in English, which makes it difficult when you are trying to tell them what needs to be picked up, where things go, etc. They came to the house without proper moving equipment and did not seem to know how to fit things through doors (like couches and big items) or carry heavy items (like mattresses). One guy showed up in leather loafers and a Bill Cosby sweater. Honestly I felt bad for them and I'm glad no one got hurt. A few things were damaged, and they tried to back their large truck over my front lawn to get to my front door (I stopped them before they could).

The worst part has been with the Sales department and business as a whole. The initial quote they gave us ($1,100) was short of the adjusted price they gave us just before the move ($1,500despite our inventory not changing), then increased again after the move was complete ($2,000). They charged our credit card nearly 2x the original quote without our authorization. They say it was because of the time it took and the extra manpower needed (they booked 4 guys 5hrs to move a small bungalow that was already packedit took them 9 hours).

We have tried to work with Sales to settle on a more reasonable price but they refuse to budge, and charged our credit card without authorization. They tell us that we can dispute charges through their claims department, but I can see from reviews on the Better Business Bureau website that this will be futile. The Sales person on the phone refuses to let me speak with a manager or anyone else within the company, which makes me wonder if it's just him.

Honestly, these guys are everything bad that you hear about movers; at least this all went down with our items off the truck (but then again, the labourers seemed very beginner... maybe they hadn't been trained up on the fundamentals of leverage).

Move out of our Condo

The guys moved all of the furniture out of a third floor Condo, into a U-Haul trailer out on the street, in 2 hours. Great service, hard working guys, they never stopped for a break. Handled everything with care, and packed everything into that trailer like magicians. Thank you very much, I would recomend these guys to everyone.

April 16, 2021 Move

Dallas, Mercedes, Ty and Travis were an awesome team today and loaded our 4 bedroom home in under 4 hours. We did have everything boxed and ready to go into the storage containers for them. We had some very heavy wood bedroom furniture upstairs that we were worried about but they were careful and took their time getting it downstairs and into the container - all while joking about the workout and getting their adrenaline rushing first thing in the morning. Dallas was very professional and made sure we were happy upon completion before they left. The price we paid to have our house loaded into storage containers was extremely fair and I would not hesitate recommending Dallas and his team. If we were not moving out of province we would definitely be hiring Happy Endings at the other end. I sure hope we can find another "happy ending" in BC when we need to unload our belongings :) Best of luck Dallas and Co. you guys rock! :)
