The main advantage is the affordable price, and responsiveness.
Visually, the new paint looks good.
However there were quite a few issues:
- Rather cheap base - 24hours curing epoxy. The resulting layer is very thin and slippery.
- Did not take out the drain (only covered it with paper).
- Only did caulking after a follow-up call (IMHO a contractor should do the work end-to-end).
- Did not sand the lower end of the bathtub skirt; as a result the paint there chips off easily.
He came on time.
The entire job took ~3 hours.
He left a rather clean work area (everything covered with paper, that was easy to remove).
Overall it was a rather cheap deal, borderline acceptable quality.
