Winston was great right from the start, he was pleasant to work with and knew what he was doing. I'm a contractor of 30 years and he didn't beat around the bush. I was given a quote from another contractor that was cheaper but I went with Safeway simply because he was prompt, and made me feel like he wouldn't need to be babysat while I was at work. He did a great job installing our new hardwired multi function smoke, fire and carbon monoxide detectors.
I have used other electricians in the past and they left holes all over the house because they were lazy, Winton left one small hole that is easy to repair myself.

I was looking for a reputable company to add some additional outside potlights.I searched on HomeStar and received a quote from Winston and a followup call. we agreed to the price and install time he asked which lights i already have in order to match my new ones. I sent pics and we where good. They arrived early and on time as I requested. After a walk thru I Originally wanted 14 lights but ended up doing 19 after discussing with Winston. They went back and got the additional 5 lights and did a outstanding job. Installation was organised professional they worked all day to complete the 19 potlights, I bought them lunch given there hardword. At the end ..he even found a way to connect to my existing switch, matched my light colour and pot light housing Pot lights look amazing, wife was pleased. Received compliments from neighbors. Already planning to hire them again for some more work .Pics say it all !!! Thanks Winston ..OUTSTANDING WORK !!! Homestar should be providing awards for outstanding workmanship like this ..Dont think about it Hire these guys 10/10 !!!

What a fantastic experience. We needed to replace a ceiling fan in a room with six potlights. Safeway Electric was on top of the game right from the get go. From requesting a quote to finishing the work that we wanted, it took one week. I am so impressed by Safeway Electric's quick and prompt responses to my questions, and was able to accomodate to my schedule and work late into the day. The work was done well. We are extemely pleased. We will not hesitate to engage Safeway Electric again for future projects.

Winston was very realistic and helpful with the estimate. He worked with my ideas and looked for the right solutions. But what's more import he noticed an exposed switch and gave me cover plates to make it more safe especially that we have a child at home. Then we have noticed that this job does not include an insoection and would not be up to code. We sadly declined and went with another company.

We wanted to upgrade the basement lighting to environmentally friendly LED lights. Safeway Electric gave us competitive pricing. Their workers did an extremely good, professional job. They were courteous, and respectful of our opinions. They discussed with us in advance how to fix unanticipated problems as these came up during their repair work. We recommend them highly for their work abilities and gentle manners.

We needed a new 240 V wire to be pulled for a new cook top, and I included new wires for a basement washer and dryer relocation. They meticulously checked appliance specs and kitchen design to make sure everything is ready when the cabinets arrive. Excellent communication, superb job on time and budget that went beyond the expectations. Outstanding and clean job, highly recommended.

I e-mailed Safeway Electric to get a quote for a malfunctioning outdoor outlet. I got a call right away and Wiston was patient while I tried to explain my problem and was given an estimate on how much it could cost. They were flexible with my schedule and even texted me to let me know they were on route. After doing some testing, Winston determined that the wire for the outlet wasn't installed to the circuit breaker. The team was efficient, polite and friendly - thank you so much!
