Matt and Cam were at my home on July 19th to replace my hot water tank. There were two of them as it is located in the attic of my condo.
I wanted to say thank you to the whole Homewise Plumbing team. It was easy to book, I got a quote over the phone and payment was easy.
What I was most impressed with was the work ethic. They knocked on the door and Matt got right to work! He already had his ladder and hit the ground running and didn't stop. He was up in the attic the whole time (hours) working away and it must have been 40 degrees up there. I encouraged him to take breaks and he powdered through. I was exceptionally happy when they realized the new tank didn't fit in the attic hole and it only took them a few minutes to troubleshoot and get right to work removing the hatch. (It was a whole thing). They did it quickly and made it look easy.
While Matt was draining and disconnecting the tank Cam and I discussed installing an isolation valve. Cam was very patient with me explaining what needed to be done to do the job properly and in the end I didn't end up getting one installed as it was too much work for now.
Overall, thank you. I had been ripped off by the previous plumber and was ecstatic to experience the high level of communication and work ethic. And the best part was that the job was completed as per the quote.
If I ever need a plumber again, I now know who to call. :-)
