Jim was extremely courteous and professional from the moment I called him to get some information about electrical work I wanted to have done at my home.

Jim installed six Potlight’s in my living room; he took his time to measure and mark out where they would be going and made sure I was completely happy with the location before commencing with the install. Jim ensured that everything was protected and left no less behind.

We also had an outlet installed on our porch (we only had one in the garage prior) and did this without having to open up any holes in our existing drywall.

I needed to run wires from the panel in basement to main floor where I wanted to install washer/dryer. An electrician came over and said the panel is old school and needs be replaced first with new breaker type or he would have to install a sub-panel before he can do anything. He was not even sure which route to take for wiring and said he has to run it around the ceiling, and provided an unreasonable quote. However, Jim was confident on what exactly he needed to do and provided a fair quote. He used the existing panel, removed only 3 ceiling tiles to fish the wires, and replaced the same tiles so good as if they were never removed! He did a totally professional and clean work in a timely manner. I found him through googling and liked his website and blogs, so I called him. His email communications was very clear and professional too. I'm totally satisfied with his great work and absolutely recommend him for any electrical job.

I was referred to Jim through HomeSmartz. Jim is fast and efficient and pleasant to deal with. I installed a whole house Siemens surge protector at the circuit breaker box, various electrical outlets in the basement theatre room and will have Jim visit again to finish some other electrical wiring. I have a single outside motion detecting light to the side of double entry doors, I wanted to have another one on the opposite side and Jim thoughtfully suggested we put it on the same circuit so they turned on and off at the same time, this was very helpful as most 'off the street electricians' would only do the required work and nothing else.
