I needed to run wires from the panel in basement to main floor where I wanted to install washer/dryer. An electrician came over and said the panel is old school and needs be replaced first with new breaker type or he would have to install a sub-panel before he can do anything. He was not even sure which route to take for wiring and said he has to run it around the ceiling, and provided an unreasonable quote. However, Jim was confident on what exactly he needed to do and provided a fair quote. He used the existing panel, removed only 3 ceiling tiles to fish the wires, and replaced the same tiles so good as if they were never removed! He did a totally professional and clean work in a timely manner. I found him through googling and liked his website and blogs, so I called him. His email communications was very clear and professional too. I'm totally satisfied with his great work and absolutely recommend him for any electrical job.
