Recently we called Sylvio Suga from SUGART DESIGN to discuss modernizing our fireplace. He came up with some options, as we wanted to keep the fireplace insert, and just build up a new mantel.
He was very professional and very friendly from start to finish, and we are very happy by choosing him.
The work was completed on time , beautifully and we love the amazing new look of our fireplace mantel. We are getting lots of compliments from family and friends who have visited us.

Sylvio made an exquisite stone sculpture of a Converse running shoe for us to place on the vault of our son who died in 2013. He collected Converse. We were so touched and pleased with the result and it looks absolutely beautiful in place. Our son would have been so pleased with it. The detail is amazing, from the Converse logo to the laces, even the wrinkles and creases in the shoe, he captured to perfection. We took a million pictures of it and pray it lasts as long as our love and memories will. It is our most cherished memento. Thank you again, Sylvio!

We are very happy with the hand carved Indiana limestone fireplace mantel Sylvio made and installed for us. That enhanced our living room decor just in time for the holidays.
