We found Rado on Homestars and we are yet another pair of incredibly satisfied customers. We needed one lock rekeyed at our new place and two finicky deadbolts to be looked at. Since this was not an emergecny, we called Rado to find out when he'd be available; he showed up with 1.5hrs. While at our place, he did all the work super quickly yet competently and with a clear sense of pride in his workmanship. One door in particular required more than your typical grinding/filing to fix the deadbolt, and Rado did not balk at that whatsoever. He even took the time and care to adjust door closer so that it actually worked properly. But you really know that Rado cares about his work when you ask him questions—he explains things thoroughly and he clearly loves what he does. Perhaps most importantly in 2020, Rado wore a mask at all times and practiced physical distancing with us. I cannot recommend Rado enough: if you need a locksmith, don't look any further.

We had a complicated handle & deadbolt set that was broken, and no way to get replacement parts. Rado tried a couple of different approaches before improvising a solution. He took extra time, made an extra visit and charged us exactly what he said he'd charge. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. Great guy.

Rado was the first to respond to my service request, he was wonderful to deal with before and during the appointment, he was super fast on the job, and he did terrific work. Make it easy for yourself and hire him!

I recently purchased a home, and our rear door was badly in need of replacement (broken sidelight etc.). The door installers told me I needed to purchase the handle & lock separately, and suggested I contact a locksmith since I wanted the front and the rear locks to use the same key.

I dealt with 3-4 other locksmiths through homes stars. They all told me that the lock style had to be the same on both doors to have same key. They all wanted to know what kind of lock I had on the front door so that I could buy a matching lock for the back door. I had no idea how to know what lock style I had, and I told the locksmiths as much.

Radoslav was the only locksmith who could tell *me* what kind of lock I had! He asked me (over the phone) what it said on my key to the front door. He could tell it was a Schlage lock based on about three letters/numbers on the key. The lock didn't say "Schlage".

Perhaps the other locksmiths could have known I had Schlage too, but Radoslav was the only one who was helpful enough to ask the right questions and give the right answers so I could know what I needed to do.

Rado was very responsive, courtesy and efficient. Very timely service, arriving on time and providing exactly what was needed. Cost was quoted in advance and paid what was quoted. Would HIGHLY recommend Rado and Locksmith Express.
