Xpression Hardwood Floors

I had really stressful and regrettable experience with these guys replacing carpet with hardwood in my two rooms and opened-to-below hallway. Things went wrong from the very beginning when they delivered low quality wood for the price close to premium hardwood, hiding the real grade name with their own made-up name. The wood did not match the sample we had chosen in the store: different brand, different hue, low quality. I should have learned the lesson and opted out right there, but somehow I found myself persuaded to exchange the wood. Then an installer came in. Turned out he did not know what he was going to do. It took a week instead of estimated 3 days to finish the job and left our railings and wall heavily damaged. I also had to clean the dust he left behind every day so we could breath normally. At the end I was told I was a difficult client to deal with, because I'd been asking questions, pointing on defects and making suggestions. All this experience cost me whooping $13/sq.foot before tax even after $300 discount I demanded for the damage. Overall I regret I did not cancel the contract when I had a chance and I've learned my lesson - never trust a salesperson and do your homework.

This store is amazing! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, they had a great selection of hardwood and the prices were excellent It was such a great experience compared to what we've received at other flooring stores, and big box stores, I had to come on and tell my story. I will be going to back to them for years to come for all of my flooring needs.

Sample we based our purchase on was not at all alike to the product received. Salesman promised to call when hardwood came in to the store, no call was made so I had to call them to see if it was in. Nosing that was supplied with the hardwood was un-finished, couldn't find finish in most common stores, repeadatly asked for help to locate finish from sales man without any call back. Was never informed about any return policies, nothing on the receipt. When it came time for install we realized this was not at all what we wanted and tried to return saying we would buy a different flooring from them. After a week of repeadetly asking for a descission without getting an answer I finally got an answer and was informed that the owner was "pissed" for us asking.

Check the Better Business bureau before purchasing any major item from a small supplier. Stay way from this supplier.

They did our main floor and we were extremely impressed with the product. The finish on the floors are oil finish so scratches do not show up like on regular hardwood. The staff were very helpful.
