Harding The Fireplace

The Harding repairman could not identify the manufacturer of our 15 year old gas fireplace. Left after five minutes and charged $99 + tax.

Clive came out to the house to discuss options with us. We decided on a larger gas fireplace and to replace out tile with stone. Their office booked the appointments, which had to be put off due to COVID, but the work finally got completed. First the fireplace went in and that was done professionally and smoothly. Then the stone was added. John, the person that installed the stone, knows what he is doing. He went over in detail what our expectations were and asked us questions we had not even thought about. He was meticulous!!! He took his time doing the work and was not satisfied until it was absolutely perfect! And it is perfect! We could not be more thrilled. Also a shout out to both the person that assisted him (apologies but I forget his name) and to Cibdy who takes care of all the administrative details. I woyld highly recommend Harding Fireplace.

Never again. The installers complained about the install and insulted my house. After a couple years parts failed and needed replacing. Waited 6 weeks for a tech to inspect it, and 6 weeks to order parts....but guess what? no parts were ordered....which i only know because I called to check. Then 3 more weeks and still no parts are ordered. Finally told the part is ordered, it's late getting in and again no call from them. I call to check and am told it's a 2 1/2 month wait to install it. Yep. thanks for that.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Harding - The Fire Place Ltd. The sales rep showed us various models in their showroom, even lighting them up on a very warm summer day so we could see the effect. He was not at all pushy and listened to our needs. We opted for a higher end model due to the size and style of our existing fireplace and mantle, but not because of the sales rep. The installers were extremely professional and personable. It is an extremely complex installation involving gas fitting, chimney liners, going up on the roof and down in the basement. They remained cordial throughout and left everything clean and tidy. Cindy in admin promptly helped us with some aftersales adjustments (some accent fittings that were missing). All was done very quickly and professionally, and just in time for the cold fall days!
