After telling them what the problem could be with my decent technical experience the technician said it was a fuse and showed me why. It was an intermittent problem which soon came back. When I called back they didn't want to send a technician claiming it's not their problem as the technician diagnosed it wrong and they wouldn't believe the customer. I had to nag them and call from numerous numbers to get another representative who still diagnosed it wrong and then when i proved it I was believed. They then wanted to charge me double the price after all i had been thru. What's more they didn't have the courtesy to call me back and let me know and then claimed i'm harassing them trying to get in touch with them. The part costs $200 and they want to give me labor for free but their charge is $400. I stalled on this work and then my landlord who had paid for this got a third party to look and realized they couldn't replace a fuse as my washer didn't have one. I then went to my credit card company to file a dispute when they finally admitted it was their fault.
If I was them I would have refunded the money and given a store credit so the customer would come back.
