Seven Star Moving

The owner of this company is dangerous and highly dishonest. He dramatically overcharged and broke furniture of a senior couple. Months later they found out just how many smaller items were missing. Some beautiful shelves broken, not mounted properly. The bed as well. Too late to call the police. He was threatening and quite frightening to them when he demanded more money than he quoted. He quoted the senior couple something around $3500 for a move and charged over $5500. His men broke furniture, damaged the walls in the hallway of the building and were seen in the security cameras just sitting around for large amounts of time. He should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Perhaps the RCMP should investigate this Akbar. He has amassed an awful reputation with those who know of him in the community, although you wouldn't know it by the Google reviews he has bullied people into leaving him. Overpromising and underdelivering is bad enough. But that, combined with his behavior and actions, are unconscionable. Please do NOT hire him.

From beginning to end, this moving company was absolutely amazing. Out main contact, Al, was professional and did his best to answer all of my questions. They were honest, charged a very reasonable amount and set reasonable expectations. Thank you so much Al! We will definitely be calling you when we move again!

We need some furniture removed from a basement that was heavy and awkward to move. They were prompt in responding, very courteous and did a very good job. They provided a same day service.

Bought some furniture on Kijiji and had one mover not show up as contracted. Desperate I called Al at Seven Star and arranged a move for a Saturday afternoon. He showed up 15 minutes early and did a great job moving. Professional, polite and did a quality job.

Seven Star Moving provided us with a hugely unethical moving experience and consequently this company does not even rate one star. Our custom made granite table was smashed to pieces due to unnecessary negligence. The company owner promised that the issue would be addressed and attended to but he failed to come forward. Further, after many attempts to contact him there has been no response. He is keeping himself off the radar and refuses to take ownership of the problem. Clearly, post move customer service standards do not exist here. It is highly recommended that potential customers be aware of the unprofessional, dishonorable practices of this company.

The movers arrived on time started to work away. They were very organized with a plan of attack. No time-wasting throughout the move and our home and items were taken care of at all times.
