Stealth Touch Ups

George stripped down our damaged dining room table with a wonderful restoration and colour matching to its original state. He salvaged our damaged dressers, and end table tops that have suffered through 10 years of cat abuse, and restored those finishes as well. He also filled holes and scratches in our engineered hardwood flooring that a previous contractor had damaged during our fireplace installation. First class work, which was completed in the time described, and for the quoted price.

We hired George to add a number of "finishing touches" to our recent full renovation: re-paint our kitchen, add shelves to all closets, add oak shelves to our kids' rooms and add an an oak door frame at our entrance. It ended up being a large scope of work but George did it quickly and with care.

The kitchen looks refreshed and the price was great. The shelves throughout give a high end look to the rooms. The front door frame is a show stopper. We could not recommend George more!

We had the challenge of wanting a 15-foot-tall bookcase to match our home décor - black tubular steel, dark wood, library ladder, etc. George came in, had done a lot of research, and proposed a design that we accepted on the spot. He then sourced the material, detailed the process in his shop, came to show us samples of what it might look like and confirmed the feasibility. He then promised the work would be done over two days; he did it in one day! He ran into some unforeseen challenges and resolved them on the spot. Craftsmanship excellent, attention to detail superb, cleaned up all the mess, touched up any areas affected, and left us with a beautiful, spectacular heirloom fixture that we treasure. Highly recommended!

Our custom wood door was infested with carpenter bees who were nesting in grooves. The bees also ate through the wood fascia and created a look of large obvious ugly gashes. George came to our home, gave an estimate and was ready to complete the work in a timely fashion. He filled the door groves and stained the door and it looks as good as new (better
in fact). He also repaired and Refinished the fascia and you could never tell there had been any damage (astounding)! George was amazing to deal with; honest significantly cheaper than other quotes. We are looking for more projects for him!

Excellent work and service restored a wood double car garage door to brand new. George did a far better job then I thought was possible and left the job site clean with no mess at all. The picture is the finished door before it was restored it was faded and the finish had peeled off.

We had water damage inside our kitchen sink cabinet bottom which we were not aware of until we replaced our dishwasher. Despite having veneer there, the water somehow got under it and damaged the wood underneath. We contacted George and he told us he could not replace the veneer because of the size and shape of the cabinet. He recommended another solution which involved using a special lacquer paint. The end result was impressive. We could not see the damage after the repairs at all. I would definitely recommend George if you need such a repair!

In preparation to sell our home, we needed to touch up our 6 year old kitchen. I would definitely recommend- they were thorough, cost effective, and it looks like new!
