I had Terry's team done my foundation waterproof and sump pump, very happy with Terry and his guys' work and price.

I did lots of research and had several quotes before deciding work with them. Terry's price is not the lowest but most worthy. I have had pretty bad experience on doing foundation waterproof with other contractor and plumbers, Terry and his team is the best.

During the excavation, one of the crews found the water pipe was leaking, the water had to be shut off. Because we have tenants so I was so panic and called tens of plumbers in order to fix the leak so we could have water back on, but they were either not available or asked for unreasonable price. Terry learned and drove all the way from Hamilton that afternoon and fixed it for free. I really appreciate his help.

John, one of Terry's crew is very experienced. He spotted cracks on the foundation; Roman, another crew is very patient and met all my requests; Walter was very careful with the gas line and water pipe while digging; Thomas worked very hard while open up the floor to install sump pump due to a big amount of concrete underneath.

Terry and his team are very considerate and pay attention to details! I liked how they cleaned up the worksite and take care of my plants. I Would recommend them to anyone who needs water proof or plumber work done.

We have a 100 year old house and our basement was always damp and unlivable, with uneven and damaged floors. His crew waterproofed our walls, added a sump pump, and replaced the concrete floor, and now it feels like a completely new and comfortable space that we're excited to spend time in.
Terry really worked hard to coordinate our schedules to complete the job to the highest standards, and I'm grateful for his professional and caring approach. (He really does seem to love his job and how it allows him to help make people's lives a little happier).

Terry was friendly and had the work done in a quick manner. His rates are very fair and reasonable. I usually get one leak per year when the snow thaws. He fixed my exterior wall . My basement floor had a leak along one wall, and he gave me a very reasonable estimate, came in with his crew, and they completed it in 2 days, did a great job, and it has not leaked after a larger rainfall than the prior one where it leaked. Terry was my contact, and he was very knowledgeable and professional, and most of all solved the problem very quickly.

We live in a 95 year old Toronto home with a 20 year old addition. Our neighbour's foundation is 12" away from ours.

HOW DO YOU STOP WATER FROM LEAKING INSIDE YOUR HOME WHEN ITS COMING IN FROM UNDERGROUND RIVERS EACH SPRING AND YOU CANNOT DIG/WATERPROOF FROM THE OUTSIDE????

Terry and his team are knowledgeable and had the interior solution that is guaranteed. His team, Vlad and Thomas are amazing, hard working guys that kept the work site clean and tidy at all times. They are conscientious and polite!

Thomas noticed that our rubble foundation was sitting (soon to be sinking) on dirt and pointed out that the weeping tile would erode the dirt further making our foundation less stable and recommended a bench footing - an affordable solution that adds decades of life to our current structure.

Nobody wants to sink money into waterproofing - When you have to do it, call Terry and his team will make it an enjoyable experience believe it or not!

Given the wet spring this year, we came home one day to a massive pool of water in our basement. We contacted several waterproofing companies. Of the four we approached, Terry at Direct Waterproofing was the first to respond. His quote was detailed and he took the time to explain the process. It was only leaking along one wall and he confirmed that we only needed to do that one wall and a portion of the other. Another company suggested we have to do the entire basement at an exorbitant cost. We had just moved into the home, so funds were tight and Terry did offer a potentially cheaper interior alternative which we declined - we wanted the exterior done.

We agreed to go with Direct Waterproofing and Terry confirmed he could start in a week. On the day of start-up, he showed up exactly when he said he would with his crew of three guys - Sergey, Roman and Walter. These guys worked harder than any crew I have ever seen and got the entire project done in a day and a half. Terry budgeted 3 days just in case of unforeseen issues so we were extremely pleased to see it completed sooner. They even sloped the area around the foundation such that water wouldn't accumulate along the foundation wall. AND, Terry even asked his crew to help us remove an old clothes line which was cemented into our backyard.

Needless to say we are extremely happy to have found Terry. Our basement is dry now :) IF we ever have a leak along any of the other walls, we know who to call!
