Edmunds Landscaping

We are thrilled with the small backyard project that Edmunds Landscaping completed for us this fall. We wanted to transform two uneven flower beds into a clean space that looked good, was low maintenance, and would be functional for our pets. John was knowledgeable and provided options to ultimately deliver what we wanted. Our project was delayed due to construction in our neighbourhood however John was responsive, attentive, and got our job scheduled as quickly as possible following the construction. The project was completed quickly and with a high standard of care. The space was left clean and we were really pleased with the team working on our space. The price was reasonable for the service provided and I would hire them again in the future.

Recently had my walkway replaced. John made it easy, had me select from a few options to help the process and got to work. So happy to finally have my old cracked walkway replaced!

Thought John was someone I could trust. He did a terrible job on our walkway and curb stone installation. The walkway isn’t squared with the house or the stairs, the stone curbing was installed after the walk way, rather than before, and is placed on a 95 degree angle and is an eye sore. We can’t run the fence next to the curb as the stone curbing doesn’t run straight-it’s off by 5 inches from the corner to the end of the run. I told John numerous times I didn’t want the stone curb jutting out in front of the stairs-because it’s so out of alignment it’s 5 inches in front of our stairs. We had to pay a new contractor to come and clean up his mess in order to finish this multi trade project we have going. He basically told me to forget about it (in a less polite way) when I asked him to come over and look at the project with me and to try and find a solution. He has our money so what does he care.

We hired John to build a interlocking patio in our backyard. It was a small but challenging project. John did an amazing job! He and his crew were very courteous and a pleasure to work with. We are very happy with the finished product and would recommend him without a doubt.

John, Phil and Colin were fantastic to have around. They took great care of my property while they were here, and were happy to take the time to discuss things with us as the job progressed. we replaced the driveway, retaining walls, stairs to the front door, and added a patio. We had a number of issues during the job and I was very impressed by how well the crew handled everything. The job started a little after the COVID lockdown ended so there were material supply issues, John was driving all over the place to find material. There was a crazy heatwave and my driveway is fully in the sun most of the day. It was torturous, I suggested they take the day off rather than suffer, but they just kept going. The guys did everything they could to keep the job moving, regardless of what got in their way. We are very pleased with the results, and so are the neighbors. We have had a steady stream of people in the neighborhood who have dropped by to chat and inspect the work.

John and his crew are top notch! I would highly recommend them for any landscaping job. John was patient, answered all my emails and calls in a timely manner, was extremely fair on budget, showed up on time and were hard working!
