Hercules movers required multiple extra days to finish my single day move. They demanded full payment and threatened me before completing the job.
They broke my cabinet and mistakes happen the moving team promised the company that it would be fixed immediately. However more than a year later they have not fixed it depsite about 30 emails. They ignored me for months and passed from one unhelpful staff person th the next.
The guys who did the move were nice guys. The office and administrators are dishonest and lack any integrity. Run as far away from them as you can.

- Company Response
Dear client,
We are a professional moving company, and we always aim to provide only the highest quality moving services to all of our customers. We are sorry to hear about your negative experience with our company; we would like to clarify some things first.
1. Yes, you are correct; your job took longer than expected. When giving an estimate, we provided a rough estimate based on the item list provided. An estimate has no guarantee of how much your payment will be or how long it will take to complete the move.
2. We didn't demand the full payment. If you kindly refer to company's terms and conditions section 33 "Payments"; 1. Payments must be made in full and at least 1 hour prior to completion of the job for local moves and prior to the delivery (24 h before the delivery) for Long distance and International moves. You read and agreed to the terms and conditions before booking the move.
3. Yes, you're correct; our movers accidentally broke your cabinet. However, what movers have told you is outside of their expertise and job title, and it is not for them to decide on the value of the compensation client will receive.
4. You are correct; your claim took more than a year. Due to Covid-19, we have serious staff shortages, and we can't operate as usual.
5. It is unfair to call our staff dishonest when they operated within the set guidelines explained in emails. You have requested a full refund of the damaged cabinet without purchasing a full-coverage protection plan. For damages that are not covered by extended protection, are reimbursement based on the Canadian freight and transportation standards that are $0.60 per lb of the damaged item. This is not only our policy; it is a provincial standard for carriers across Canada.
6. Our claim department tried their best to resolve the issue by offering $350, which is more than you would get for $0.60/lb. However, they couldn't reach an agreement, and you refuse to accept the refund. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this situation might have caused you. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to discuss this issue further.
Yours truly,
Hercules Moving Company.
