After looking around at several stores in Metro Vancouver, we finally settled on Canadian Home Style for our flooring renovation. Our journey began one rainy Saturday afternoon. We had visited a few other places, but none felt quite right. As soon as we walked into Canadian Home Style, we were greeted warmly by Soheil. He took the time to understand our needs and preferences, patiently showing us a variety of engineered hardwood options. We were impressed by his knowledge and genuine interest in helping us find the perfect fit for our home. A big thank you to Felix, our installer, for doing an amazing job on the install. Felix's craftsmanship was truly remarkable, and he even took extra care to clean up everyday, leaving our home spotless.

This family-run business clearly cares about the community and customer satisfaction, and it shows in every interaction. We recently completed a home renovation that included updating a couple of bathrooms, our kitchen, and removing some structural walls, along with new flooring. We were referred to Canadian Home Style by our neighbour, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Sareh is great and I will forever be greatful for what she had done to our home. The cabinets are of high quality, and the design fits exactly what we had in mind. I highly recommend canadian home style for your flooring projects. We were recommended to the through one of their previous customers and after the installation and how everything went, I'll be recommending them to anybody I would know. Our job was not easy, the stairs needed to be reinforced and we also had another situation that needed to be fixed since we had MDF subfloor in a really old house. They ended up reinforcing the entire staircase and redoing the main floor subfloor for us at a reasonable cost and the end result (engineered hardwood) looks fantastic.

After 6 months of extensive research and having talked to several companies, we decided to hire Canadian Home Style for our home renovation in Vancouver which involved kitchen cabinets upgrades, bathroom, flooring, popcorn ceiling removal, and painting. Having done a few renovations in the past, I can share the following feedback about the team and the job overall:

- Their prices are a competitive and their process is transparent. We found other quotes were missing small details and when we would ask them what about this particular thing or that, they would say "oh, that would be additional cost". Canadian Home Style from the beginning provided us with detailed and through quote and their overall estimate included everything. The only additions after the renovation was a couple of stuff that we added during the work and subfloor preparations for the wood flooring which we had anticipated.

- the communications are excellent; we felt involved in every step of the project such as the location of the grab bar or shower controls, the width and profiles of the stair nosings, direction of the wood flooring etc.

- Their trades are pros, on-time and easy to talk to. We look forward to them showing up everyday and seeing their work throughout the project.

- Their recommendations are for your benefit and to make extra cost for the homeowner. Something we learned the hard way last time we did a major reno.

- The product they recommended and even small stuff like accessories and materials for installation like glue, etc are the highest quality. We chose Canadian made hardwood by Purparket and the installation on our radiant heating system was done flawlessly and with my care and attention to details.

- Sareh, Sahel and Soheil are all genuinely nice and great people. Sahel was involved mainly with the kitchen and mill-work design. Sareh acted as the GC of the project and Soheil is the flooring guru.

I can't ask for a better experience and we felt like being part of their family. A big Thank you to Felix, Alex, Adam, Bertrand and Amir for their hard work.

We renovated our kitchen and flooring through Canadian Home Style based on a friend's recommendation and are very pleased with both the level of professionalism and the outcome of the project. They are honest family and are passionate about what they do. Sahel is calm, patient and super talented. The trades were respectful to our house and cleaned up everyday. They helped us through with everything: design, picking the appliances, plumbing fixtures, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical and permits. If you have a home renovation project, I highly recommend using them.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Soheil and his team. We have been looking around for quite some time for a clean garde engineered Ash. From our very first visit to the showroom, we knew we were at the right place. Soheil gave us an incredibly detailed presentation, explaining the real differences between lower-priced hardwood options and premium ones. Despite some back-and-forth with our Strata to get the necessary approvals, Soheil was always quick to respond, providing all the additional documents we needed to keep things on track. The installation process was smooth and professional (a big Thank you to Adam) and the final result is stunning.

We're super happy with how our new wood floors and kitchen cabinets turned out, all thanks to our contractor pointing us to Canadian Home Style. Sahel is easy to work with and super helpful in giving practical solutions in terms of the design for the cabinets. Everything came together perfectly and honestly, it's like we're living in a brand new home. Totally love it! :)

We recently got our kitchen cabinets and a custom entertainment unit from Canadian Home Style and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. From our first meeting with Sahel at the showroom, we felt completely confident in her expertise. I'm pretty picky about details, and there was quite a bit of customization we needed. Sahel was just fantastic at somehow fitting everything needed. The overall design process was very enjoyable (for both of us I hope). A couple of service orders were needed after installation, but Sahel ensured everything was taken care of to our complete satisfaction. The cabinets are top quality and are built to last. We're happy to recommend Sahel and the company to anyone looking for custom cabinetry and millwork in the area.

Just wrapped a six-month renovation marathon on 60 + year old house with Sareh and Sahel from Canadian Home Style, and boy, was it a ride! We tackled two kitchens and three bathrooms, flooring etc while living in the chaos, because why not? Sareh was an absolute gem through it all, her patience could win awards, and her advice was spot-on every time. Sahel's got an eye for detail that turned what could have been a mess into a masterpiece. Despite a few hiccups (because whats a renovation on a 60 year old house with lots of surprises without a little drama?), they handled everything like the pros they are. Now, it's time to kick back, sip some wine, and enjoy the gorgeousness with my new friends. If you're in Vancouver and looking to do a reno, these are the folks to call. Our experience with Canadian Home Style is certainly a remarkable one and worth sharing. We had been in a hunt for a good Canadian made hardwood flooring for some time. Having been to several other flooring dealers, we stumbled upon CHS in North Vancouver by chance and we instantly connected and felt comfortable with soheil. We had some concerns that he was able to address right off the bat. On the first day of installation when Sam, our installer, was removing the baseboards he realized that there was a nail in one our pipes from the previous install. Sam made sure that water didn't get out to damage anything. Soheil was over literally 5 minutes after and the water was shut off. At this point in time, I was very stressed out and just asked Soheil to deal with it. He had a plumber on site the same day who fixed the damaged pipe, the drywall was patched the next morning and everything was just handled with so much professionalism that really left me in awe. This could have easily been a disaster but Soheil was calm, positive and just so quick to act. We're also very happy with Sam's workmanship. He did a great job on the stairs. We really appreciate the work they did for us and would not hesitate to recommend their services!
