Hargrave Heating And Air Conditioning

Our old mid-efficiency Carrier furnace was issued a red tag warning on Nov 23 2022 (with 2 weeks to replace). We quickly reached out to 3 homestar HVAC companies for quotes + 2 other companies. Hargrave Heating and Air Conditioning won the bid. From their final quote to post installation concerns we encountered the owner of Hargrave responded quickly to our questions and addressed our concerns.

This installation included a Carrier Hybrid Heat Pump (Heat Pump with High Efficiency gas furnace) which was eligible for a Canada Greener Home Grant (rebate) up to 5K.

The furnace and HP were installed within the mandated 2 weeks)
The time from quote to rebate cheque issuance took less than 2 months. We received the full rebate for the HP Hybrid and the 2 audits.

We had one issue with the humidifier drain going into the condensate pump - this caused the pump to drain every 5 minutes which was quite noisy. They sent a service tech out within 48hrs, moved the humidifier drain to a separate line : problem solved!

The technicians, service people, office mgr and owner were attentive and professional from start to finish. The owner knew exactly how to get this done quickly with the least amount of impact and administration particularly the rebate portion. We were provided references as well (these people were helpful)

The auditor that HARGRAVE uses was very good and coached us through the rebate process.
