Tub And Shower Valve Problems/installs

Contractor came prepared and quickly resolved water leak issue in shower.Contractor also pointed out that shower drain was incorrectly installed by home builder.Issue was again resolved and repaired quickly . Reassuring to know shower is now installed correctly and is leak proof!Contractor also installed acrylic tub and drain connections with no problem.Highly recommend Protex Plumbing.

Replaced cartridge in shower valve

Tried to change the cartridge out myself, but it was stuck. Ended up breaking off the stem, so it turned into an emergency repair.
Had someone there later that same afternoon. Repaired in less than an hour. Fast, friendly service.

Plumbers and home owners not give up that battle until it's too late, by that time they need a new shower valve control which means opening up the walls and $500-$1000 repairs taking place because they kept trying. Company Response: Even with major floor issues below the tub we were able to take the extra time needed and repair the floor first before seeing the new tub. Having the tub set dead level corrects the pooling water issues you had before. Glad you used us to set the tub correctly instead of just letting it fly. We had a leak, and Roy came within about 30minutrs of our call. He was able to quickly diagnose the source of the leak, and repaired it quickly. We were very happy with the entire service!

Leak in ceiling and leaky faucets

I had a leak in the family room cealing and a couple of leaking faucets. Dave arrived within 30 minutes of my call to ProTex Plumbing. He resealed the bathtub drain. He needed to replaced the 26 year old water faucet in basement laundry tub. Before he started the work, he informed me of the price of the unit and labour cost. He also fixed the dripping valve for the outdoor water tap.
He was professional and worked quickly and efficiently. I have already recommended Protext to a friend.
