West Coast Barrier

I recently had my 42 year old home changed from cedar to vinyl siding. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with West Coast Barrier. Starting with my initial consultation and quote with Tyler to the crew of Steve, Regan, and Bill. All 4 gentleman were very knowledgeable and highly skilled tradesmen. If you are in need of a siding repair or a complete renovation I would have no hesitation in recommending them to do your project.

West Coast Barrier installed pre-finished Hardie siding, aluminum and T&G wood soffits on our full home reno. The job took a bit longer than expected, but they were great to work with, had excellent attention to detail and the customer service was impeccable. Tyler went above and beyond in offering advice for our building envelope and setting up a sample so we could pass inspection with the city. We would highly recommend them to anyone, our house looks fantastic!

Tyler was very good at explaining my options dealing with my old cedar siding, and had some great ideas. The finished look was amazing. Steve was the head of the 2 man crew and was very good at what he did and always answered my questions. He also came up with some very good ideas to improve the look of our house.

Tyler and his crew did an excellent job replacing our old vinyl siding and we could not be happier with the look of the Hardie Plank. it feels like a brand new house. Even when the work was complete and we pointed out a some concerns the crew came back and addressed each one until it was fixed to our satisfaction. Tyler will go to great lengths to ensure you are 100% satisfied with his work. My wife and I would highly recommend him if you are considering updating your home's exterior.

These guys did the full re-siding of my stucco to Hardie, I got quotes from 4 places and they were not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The work was done well and the crews were professional, polite and friendly. The site was kept clean & safe, supplies were organized. The owner is organized and experienced, able to predict the likely scenarios and potential additional costs due to damage uncovered in the course of the reno, made it easy to plan and the costs were well within his predictions, no surprises, no crazy extra bills, very upfront and trustworthy. Communication was prompt and polite, I never had to follow-up, both the crew and the office were always on top of it. Very happy with the service, hope I never have to do a big reno like this but If I did I would definitely hire them again. 100% would recommend to friends and family.

We were very happy with our decision to go with west coast barriers. Tyler helped us plan our design, we were appreciative of his time and patience with us. Jason (head foreman) did an excellent job installing with great care. They were always on time every day to start work and finished with reasonable time frame that was promised.

First up...many thanks to Tyler and his crew Steve, Brandon (aka Chief) and the demo man...for making our home a sight to behold. After completion neighbors came by to admire the great craftsmanship that this duo put in. With scorching heat and high humidity they showed up and got the job done... Hail to Steve and the Chief! I got to know them a little because I hang out and chat with them during their breaks.
Steve has got such wonderful hands giving our home a fancy schmancy look. We loved the color Rich espresso which gave our home a bold look and the pearl gray trim gave it a nice accent. Stunning, awesome, beautiful were the words we heard from our 'hood. Very sharp were the words that came out of our mouth. We didn't like it... we LoVeD it... Cheers!

West Coast Barrier has just completed our home with board & batten Hardie Board siding and natural cedar shingles on the 2nd floor. Their work is meticulous and we are 100% satisfied. Ty is very professional, listened to our requests, gave knowledgeable feedback as to what application was best for our home and was always available when we had questions. Thanks to Ty and his crew (especially to Jason for his wonderful craftsmanship) – we couldn’t be happier with the result. Our home looks beautiful with its new siding! My old cedar siding needed to be replaced as vermin were finding their way into the home. The owner assessed the property and described what he can do to mitigate the problem, to rain screen the windows and walls, and to deliver an aesthetically beautiful product. The completed project looks fabulous. I'm looking forward to rodent free living. During the construction, they were professional and responsive to questions and concerns that arose.
