We hired Burly Boyz for a long haul move to Ottawa. The guys did a great job wrapping our furniture and taking care of the fragile pieces. We're really happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone we know that's moving. Thanks guys!!

Wow

Wow. Moved our house and KD and helper were on time and they got right to it. Our furniture is older and heavy and they moved it no problems. Both houses had tough access points. Very professional and cost effective
.highly recommend and would use them again. Nope not moving again.

Extremely unhappy

I had the Burly boys to move my things from Leduc Alberta to Ontario and their storage and I was extremely unhappy with my move. They broke a lot of my things and I have missing boxes I did pay extra for the insurance with them and my boxes looked like hey were open I will never recommend them and now I have to replace all the damage they did.This is extremely stressful and extremely unprofessional.

Moving is a stressful procedure with a lot of bad companies out there who will quote you a price and then bill you 10x the price. I was very happy to see that Burly Boyz were very professional and old fashioned in the way they did business. I strongly recommend them for anyone looking to move.

Don't rent their boxes or buy the extra insurance

The movers were fine but I'm beyond frustrated with the office staff. We rented boxes which were a $5 deposit each. We had one month to bring them back and we would get our money back. They decided that we had damaged 8 and had to purchase them, despite having received them in nearly that condition. These boxes were totally reusable.

Also, don't spend your money on the extra insurance. It barely covers anything and the wall repair guy fixes the small dings by patching an extremely noticeable 6"x6" square.

At Burly Boyz Moving and storage, we are proud to offer to our local customers our community box program. Normally when you purchase boxes from another vendor you pay for the boxes period, and your stuck with those boxes. Our program offers you to come down pick up as many 2 cube and 4 cube boxes as needed, pay a deposit, return them in reusable condition and we will refund you the deposit minus any damaged boxes. We use gently used and new boxes. Our customers think our box program is wonderful,receiving a refund for most or all of their boxes they feel is better than receiving nothing at all.
We are sorry that you felt you had a bad experience with our box program.
