Front yard landscape and refresh project - great design and excellent execution! Love the plant material brought in and so easy to care for! Never would have got here without Justin and the team!

Redid our kitchen over the pandemic, really opened our options as to what we could do and could not be happier with the end result!
We would give a perfect 10 but we definitely went over budget (which we were notified of and approved!) Cannot stress how much we love our new kitchen!

Great working with them over the course of our renovation - we would not have come up with half the ideas on our own and love the finished product. 10/10 and would work with again!

we have worked with Justin and his team on multiple occasions over the last 4-5 years, first on our condo and then on our first home - absolute delight and has such incredible talent and vision. He worked within our parameters and exceeded our expectations! we are settled in the home he made for us now but would hire and recommend them again in a heartbeat!

If I could I would give Justin a -10. He was scattered in planning from the start. He would demo one part but not the everything. Once the project finally got into full swing. The contractor stopped working. I happen to meet him on-site, and he mentioned he hadn’t been paid. My kitchen was to be delivered and Justin ensures it would. Not even put into production yet. I don’t know if he’s bad with money. But it cost me an extra 80k to finish my renovation, and almost 2 yrs. Beware Beware BEWARE. very good talker, not a good follow through.

Such a pleasure working with Justin and his teams, especially through the pandemic. we started with the idea of finishing our basement cosmetically, but soon ended up with building a full walk out, bathroom and home gym. He convinced us that these would be long term useful to our growing family and we could not be happier. The design process took about 4-6 weeks ( a little slower than we are used too, but it was good to see and discuss different ideas) and it made the investment feel so much more worth it. We were advised that the build out would likely be slow, and we were kept aware through updates what progress would look like - some days were great and others slow...but we kept our eye on the finish line. Once all said and done, we could not be happier! My husband finally has a place to work out (his mancave lol) and it's great to have access to the pool from the basement... We hope to do our mainfloor when our budget recovers and would hire the Black Label team again!!!!

Was great meeting Justin through a colleague, he came up with a great concept for us and executed over about 5 months. replaced floors, new kitchens and bathrooms. he gave us a steep quote to start, we edited a few items out to bring it down. Project did take a lot longer then expected, but worth it in th e end.

Justin starts off strong with his design concepts but fails on execution. He lost interest in my project after some initial delays procuring materials for a kitchen reno.

He had repeatedly committed to completing the job, but his communication soon dropped off, and after repeated attempts to get him to finish the job, he washed his hands of it, suggesting he lost money on my project, and left me in the lurch to bring in someone else to complete it.

Take heed of the 1-star reviews because your project could be the next one he fails to complete due to his unprofessionalism and empty promises.
