Blackbird Roofing Company Team

The roof looks pretty good but they do not pay attention to detail and they certainly do not communicate with each other. I informed Mike @ BlackBird that I wanted my whirlybird vent put back on my roof, I also wanted them to fix a dip in the roof. Mike agreed. I took the morning off to make sure the supervisor (Jack) on the job knew of my request. He did not. I informed him. When the job was done the whirlybird was no were to be found and they did not fix the dip in my roof. They did come back and fix the dip but did not offer to replace the whirlybird and of course blamed it on someone else. My biggest problem was, they took the vent for my microwave exhaust off the roof and did not cover the hole. Pieces of shingles fell into my microwave and burnt out the fan. When I complained they blamed it on the wind and the fact they had to take off two layers of shingles. I suggested that they stop making excuses and come up with solutions like covering the vent hole in the roof. No apologies or offers to replace my microwave. Who knows what other damage they caused. Don't use them they suck.

The shingles were replaced quickly but then had a skylight leak. Someone had to come out twice to fix it which they did. But then I found out that when they had moved my satellite dish they didn't properly secure it to my roof. I called and got no response. Then I had another skylight leak. I called a few times and again got no reply. I'd have appreciated any kind of response. Now I have to get another company to fix the leaking skylight and because it's a part of the roof I can't see I don't even know the condition of it.

After a long winter we noticed missing shingles one of our friends told us about blackbird I have seen there trucks around for years witch gave me a comfortable feeling sure enough I had them over for a price troy got up on my roof and fixed the missing shingles. No charge!! He then left me and my wife decided to call blackbird an book to do our roof with there roofing team. Wow were so happy they had tarps laid out everywhere to protect our landscaping. We had shingle blow off in febuary we tried calling a few companies they seem to be closed for winter..Not good!!! A friend told us to tey blackbird roofing there open all year around and offer great service.So we went onli e found there phone number. They came over that day an patched are roof untill the weather warms up so it cant leak.thank u so much blackbird..we will spread the word.

Company left dumper on my driveway while I was not home for 48 hours. Then picked it up empty.
Finally delivered the dumpster on the correct date.
Workers removing the old shingles and metal flashing hit the new very expensive roof of my neighbor and put the crumbling old shingles from my roof into their eaves, which were cleaned following their re roofing.
Entered my neighbors property without their permission to remove all the crap from my roofing job they threw into their yard.
This does not build/maintain respectful relations with neighbors.
They will have an inspection of their roof and I will now have to deal with this development.

Mike from Blackbird did the roofing. Now, only 2 years later, I have 2 leaks in the garage. I have tried calling several times, both cell and office numbers, and no one answers and no one returns my calls.
This is unacceptable. I cannot afford to hire someone else to replace fix the leaks.

Got my roof done last year (2014). Originally there was a dissagreement which they solved by offering me a $100 rebate. Finished job in one day. Looks good so far.

We had blackbird roofing do our roof because we had seen the sighns around durham region over the past couple of years. We wanted to make sure we went with a well known roofing company.So we went with blackbird.just wanted to say thanks for the great job guys! Great team awesome clean up!
