Rock was a pleasure to work with. He is extremely responsive, and put the designs together very quickly. Rock worked to try to stay within our vision and price point for the project as a whole (not just the design part). We had previously had terrible experience with a very pushy designer, and it was a relief to work with someone who understood our vision and (more importantly) our budget.

We really appreciated that his prices were reasonable, and that he also honors his price. I am particularly sensitive to (and hate it) when contractors find ways to overcharge (often ridiculous prices) for either minor adjustments, discovery issues, or things that they themselves had missed in the quote or project. It was very nice to see this did not happen with Rock.

I bought a small midtown fixer upper and started doing a major renovation. However, the project was significantly delayed due to the negligence and incompetence of the previous architect.
Rock Kim came highly recommended by one of the sub trades people, and everything started to turn around and head in the right direction when I hired Rock to review and redesign the project. Rock is very knowledgeable and professional, but he has no problem seeking an advice from the consultants for their expertise whenever needed. I appreciated his design sensibility and promptness in delivering the drawings and making revisions. Rock is very approachable and attentive, so he will take time to listen to your problems or your needs. He is accommodating when it comes to scheduling meetings and site visits. Rock made me realize that it makes a world of difference when I have the right person on the team! Working with Rock was a pleasant experience, and I highly recommend him.
