Mallion Aluminum

We had a kind of eavestroughing emergency, made worse by all the rain we have had over the past couple of weeks. I found Petar's great reviews on Homestars, called him, and within 90 min he was here to look at the house and give us a quote. When a couple more big storms made the pressing situation even more urgent, Petar managed to squeeze us into the schedule. (By comparison, one of the companies we called came and took measurements -- 2 weeks ago! -- we are still waiting for that quote!) Petar and his crew did a GREAT job, they are courteous and professional, and left the area really clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Petar and his team did a very thorough job. This was a big job which took from early morning to early evening. Throughout, Petar and his team were diligent and answered every question. They also left the area spotless!

Petar and Nick removed the old gutters and downspouts and installed new ones of the proper size (downspouts) and with a better design and better anchoring system. All removed materials were taken away and patio and driveway were hosed down. Everything was explained thoroughly by Petar

I reached out to several eaves/gutter companies and Petar was the quickest to respond and come out to give a free estimate.
The estimate was thorough and we went through what needed to be done. The quote included options (as i was unsure if i wanted the t-rex eaves) and priced reasonably.

Scheduling the work is always hard when weather is a factor but Petar made sure to work within my requested range of dates. The employees were here on time and completed the work in a day, being flexible to our suggestions of where to put the rain barrel and reinforcing a couple facias boards. They were also very careful with our gardens as we have lots of seedlings close to the house. We expected a few casualties but were very happy with the care and cleanliness from the crew.

Overall a pleasant experience and now we have great looking and operating eavestroughs and downspouts.

My experience with Mallion Aluminum has been very positive, especially dealing with Petar. The rain water was coming from the shingles onto the top eavestrough, through the downspout and overflowing onto the second eavestrough below and creating wet spots on the wall. I called another very highly rated company and the person was rude on the phone. Then they asked me to send photos of the problem that I described above. Without coming to my house and waiting a whole day to get a reply, thery said it was a roofers problem.

So when I looked up on Mallion and read the reviews, I was sceptical at first, even though the reviews were very good. However, the reviews were as advertised. Petar got back to me right away and promised to come over at a certain time and look at the problem I had. Petar always kept in touch and he suggested the solution to the problem that I described above. The most important thing was that Petar explained to me, why I had a problem and how he was going to fix it. It made sense to me after he explained both the problem and solution.

Petar gave me a quote the next day as promised, and he even set a date, when the work would be done. The quote was reasonable, and the work was done on the date it was promised. the workers cleaned up the area and did a fantastic job. They even matched up the eaves-trough color to what we had. I found Petar to be very personable, and very easy to talk to, unlike a lot of trades people that I have come across who appear very dour. I definately would recommend him.

We had new eaves, downspouts and rain barrels installed. The job was done very well. The crew was respectful and tidy.

From the time I submitted my request on HomeStars, Petar called me within 15 minutes to arrange a visit to give a quote. He gave a thorough description of how he planned on upgrading our eavestroughs and provided options in our quote.

After committing to do the work with Mallion, Petar continued to be very active in communicating the schedule and any changes that were required due to weather.

The first day that they came to do the work, he realized that the colour of aluminum he had was SLIGHTLY different from that of our soffits. He is very focused on ensuring the work is done correct the first time, and would not install the mis-matched colours, even though they were incredibly close. At every step his communication was fantastic and he was very clear about ensuring the work was done to his standards of quality.

To do the entire property, the job needed to be done over two days, at the end of the first day there was a risk of some rain in the forecast, and Petar came back late at night to ensure that there was zero possibility of water getting near our foundation. His dedication to doing what he felt was right was fantastic.
