Josh, Skip and the team did a lovely job on our laundry room. We have an amazing view and they really enhanced it for us. What nice guys to have around. Really friendly, helpful and full of good ideas. We found them by recommendation and we would not hesitate to recommend them either.

Josh and his team did a great job on our Burlington home in the summer of 2018. From start to finish we were very happy with the entire process. Quoting was accurate, transparent and Josh came highly recommended by someone we trust. They were chosen after meeting 3 contractors and getting multiple quotes. The guys are polite, honest, and full of great ideas while knowing design "do's and don'ts" for our neighbourhood/area. They are experienced/knowledgeable and have the ability or trades people to handle any project. Josh has a background in higher end cabinetry/finishing work and that shows in his attention to detail.

Our renovation comprised of removal and replacing all floors, new interior trim around doors and windows, expanding closets, painting, moving doors, enlarging windows, scraping/refinishing ceilings, new led lighting, demo of old kitchen/laundry room and preparation of rooms for the cabinet company. We also renovated a laundry room, main floor bathroom and had them redo the main staircase in the house. We (and the neighbours) loved that we didn't have a giant bin sitting in our front driveway for weeks like so many contracts do, they worked quickly, and took the time to clean up at the end of each day. We are thrilled with the outcome of the work, the attention to detail, and they worked within a tight timeline while seamlessly coordinating other trades. Josh had recommendations that we didn't think about or consider, and we are very happy that we took his advice. They were also good at helping us cut out some unnecessary costs to help keep as close to our original budget as possible. Additions to the scope of the project happened and we never felt that we were gouged for money and feel his work was of excellent quality and fair value. All the members of his team are family guys, who take pride in their work and have fun doing it, they were punctual, polite and dependable.

Josh provides great service after the completion of the project as we needed him to return to clarify a few things, he did it without hesitation in a timely manner after final payment was already made. They were great to have around the house as you want to work with people you like. We will definitely use them for the other renovations in the future provided they continue to offer the same balance of honesty, quality work, transparency and fair pricing/value. They are quality people, capable of any work, running a family business focused on the customer. Thanks guys.

The work was done in a timely and beautiful fashion. I was consulted on every step and received great advice. There were no unwanted surprises of any kind. The clean up was great including that of the sub trades. An entirely positive experience.

We had watermarks appearing on the bathroom ceiling which became more and more frequent. We had the realization that there was leak somewhere near the fan. I called Josh at Top Standard Contracting, and he and his team was there quickly. They found 5 gallons of water above the vapour barrier! This reno involved taking out the whole ceiling. While we were waiting for it to dry, his team check with me frequently, and came to check it. They then took care of the mold, picked up and installed a new fan and repaired the ceiling. They totally cleaned up all the mess in the bathroom and did amazing finishes. I highly recommend Top Standard Contracting. I have just recently asked for a couple of quotes and have recommended Top Standard to my daughter.

I highly recommend Josh Garyfalakis and his team. We were taking a trip to Maui and really wanted to have our rec room done while we were away. I spent a lot of time working out exactly what I wanted in that room, and approached Josh, just a couple weeks before we left. He managed to book his team in on our last week of vacation. We met, and I showed him what I wanted where, left on vacation, and came back to everything exactly as I had hoped. The workmanship was perfection, everything I anticipated was done and I love our new rec room. I have to say that the really big surprise was that we came home to a clean basement and there was no evidence that they had been in and out our main floor the whole week. The door to downstairs requires going through the entrance, dining room and part of the kitchen, and it was all very neat and clean when we got back. I would recommend Top Standard Contracting to anyone. Josh delivers on what he promises, with excellence and has his guys clean up afterwards – bonus!!
