I contracted RenoPro to install a tiled shower in my condo bathroom using the Schluter waterproofing system. The work involved a full gut and included electrical, plumbing, framing, tiling and installing fixtures. Communication with Roman was good but he was rarely onsite to supervise the construction. There were numerous deficiencies along the way which was passed off as acceptable. The work and materials used were not as specified in the contract and had to be reworked/replaced numerous times. The photos speaks of the workmanship and quality (or lack thereof).
The contract stipulated the use of Schlueter systems for the shower waterproofing but instead knockoff materials were used and the installation did not meet the manufacturers specifications. The drain used was incompatible with the Schlueter system and would have resulted in flooding. Fortunately, I am familiar enough with renovation work to stop the construction and terminate the contract. Unfortunately, I should have done this sooner.
After tearing down the work Roman did garbage was found buried behind the walls. Garbage was also left in various places in my condo instead of being disposed of offsite. Be wary of anonymous positive reviews.

Dear HomeReno55,
Thank you for your honest feedback, as negative as it may be and a full year later!
We did learn from that experience and improved the screening process of our trades even further. I would like to go through your feedback since other information has been omitted from your side.1-First of all we do sincerely apologize for letting you down, the installation of Schluter was inproper. With Covid job crunch in full swing last year, good workers were extremely hard find. Upon learning of the issues a discount was offered with a complete removal and reinstallation by a different installer at no cost to you. For
your peace of mind a full schluter inspection by their comoany Rep would have been provided.2-The extra plumbing work you have requested that we have completed was also not charged to you. All this was offered in good faith.
3-Your decision at the time to remove us from the project was respected and understood. All the garbage from 1st day of demolition up to the last day on the job was removed from the hallways and loading
zone and confirmed with your building security.4-We are genuine, hardworking renovation company and every review posted for us can be backed up by actual client projects and pictures. Even yourself, instead of being named anonymous, still covered your name by a nickname HomeReno55.
In construction and renovations there are no perfectly smooth projects. Issues arise and it is how well and how far we are willing to go to fix them. We had an issue on your project, tried our best to offer you real-time solutions but unfortunately the relationship had already been damaged and we lost your trust. Many other contractors would run for the hills we did the opposite. With your review it might actually show other we are a good contractor which owns up to their mistakes.
Best,
Roman
