When I was first sourcing contractors to renovate our bathroom, I knew Roman was going to be the one to do the job even before all the quotes were in. He was friendly, knowledgeable and the only contractor that offered an initial site visit. He guided us through the entire process ensuring that we were satisfied through each phase. He kept his crews on schedule and our project on budget. I am overjoyed with the result!

I was referred to Reno Pros by a family friend when my washroom and kitchen backsplash needed to be done. I was told that the workmanship and the attention to detail was outstanding. I made contact with Roman, who helped me plan the project from start to finish, I was quite impressed with his flexibility and knowledge, and over the course of the project he really made me feel confident and safe, which is extremely important for me. I especially appreciated him educating me and making sure that my large ensuite bathroom was properly water proofed, I did end up selecting the ultimate waterproofing package as I felt that it was really worth the money to have a peace of mind. The project went according to plan with no setbacks, Roman communicated with me every step of the way. The finishing had me in love with my new ensuite bathroom and kitchen backsplash. I would recommend them to any who ask. Special thanks to Roman for making it stress free and as enjoyable as a reno could possibly be.

I contracted RenoPro to install a tiled shower in my condo bathroom using the Schluter waterproofing system. The work involved a full gut and included electrical, plumbing, framing, tiling and installing fixtures. Communication with Roman was good but he was rarely onsite to supervise the construction. There were numerous deficiencies along the way which was passed off as acceptable. The work and materials used were not as specified in the contract and had to be reworked/replaced numerous times. The photos speaks of the workmanship and quality (or lack thereof).

The contract stipulated the use of Schlueter systems for the shower waterproofing but instead knockoff materials were used and the installation did not meet the manufacturers specifications. The drain used was incompatible with the Schlueter system and would have resulted in flooding. Fortunately, I am familiar enough with renovation work to stop the construction and terminate the contract. Unfortunately, I should have done this sooner.

After tearing down the work Roman did garbage was found buried behind the walls. Garbage was also left in various places in my condo instead of being disposed of offsite. Be wary of anonymous positive reviews.

It's always difficult to select a contractor but we have hit on the perfect choice. Roman worked closely with us from beginning to end with good recommendations and solutions. Despite definite challenges with our project, Roman and his crew delivered what we had envisioned. Roman made sure that we were happy with every detail of the job before signing off. There were no hidden costs in the estimate nor overruns. Timeliness, cleanliness, being able to achieve our requirements and staying close to the original quote were our major concerns, and the Reno Pros delivered. We would definitely recommend the Reno Pros.
