I had a great experience using Fix. The office quickly organized the inspection. The crewman on site, Dima, was professional in both his manner and his quality of work, and a very pleasant gentleman to deal with. He thoroughly explained all aspects of the repairs and the the costs beforehand and got us quickly cooking and cleaning again.

Dima was great. The washing machine was not easy to fix, due to being in a tight space. He figured out how to work around it and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Will call them in the future if needed.

We have a Frigidaire front loading washing machine which has served us well for the past 4 years. We started to notice that the door would not lock properly and as a result the inner drum would not rotate. We called a guy to come check it out and he told us that we would need to replace the door lock and water pump. Based on the price of the parts and labour, we were instructed to purchase a new machine (it wouldn't make sense fixing it). I wasn't content with the initial diagnosis, so I decided to get a second opinion. I had a friend who has used the services of Fix Appliances on a number of occasions and he said they were good. I called them to schedule an appointment and I had Sasha come by the house the next day. He did a thorough check of the washing machine and once complete, he said that I will definitely need a new door lock BUT the pump may not be necessary (potential savings!). It was difficult to diagnosis any further since it would not lock properly and he didn't have the part(s) with him. He also provided me with the best and worst case scenario in terms of cost. He then proceeded to order the parts and told me a 2nd visit would be necessary. Sasha came back 6 days later with the parts, installed the door lock and performed another thorough check. Once the door lock was installed he said that was the issue the whole time and the pump wasn't required. I saved approximately $150 (that was just for one part...SMH!) and the machine machine works great. Sasha is detailed oriented and very knowledgeable. I will definitely use their services again!

The technician was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. While the issue with our washing machine was misdiagnosed the first time, this was rectified immediately and we weren't charged anything extra. Highly recommended for their professional and kind service attitude.

I was extremely satisfied with the service Denis provided. He explained the charging process and the warranty process. He explained what he thought might be the problem and gave me my options before he proceeded.

Technician (sorry forgot his name) was very efficient in diagnosing the problem, providing estimate of work, and returning soon after to install parts - I was really impressed with the fast response to my initial call (on-site within 48 hours) and when repair was made... it would have been earlier, but I was not available for the earlier date. Gave window of time he would return to make repairs and was exactly on time at the front end of the window of time. Would recommend without hesitation and will continue to call Fix Appliances as my first option for appliance repairs... the service and response times and quality of work is excellent. I always worry about the fly by night repair services as you never know what you're going to get, but I think my worries are now over! Thank you Fix Appliances... please don't change.
