We have a Frigidaire front loading washing machine which has served us well for the past 4 years. We started to notice that the door would not lock properly and as a result the inner drum would not rotate. We called a guy to come check it out and he told us that we would need to replace the door lock and water pump. Based on the price of the parts and labour, we were instructed to purchase a new machine (it wouldn't make sense fixing it). I wasn't content with the initial diagnosis, so I decided to get a second opinion. I had a friend who has used the services of Fix Appliances on a number of occasions and he said they were good. I called them to schedule an appointment and I had Sasha come by the house the next day. He did a thorough check of the washing machine and once complete, he said that I will definitely need a new door lock BUT the pump may not be necessary (potential savings!). It was difficult to diagnosis any further since it would not lock properly and he didn't have the part(s) with him. He also provided me with the best and worst case scenario in terms of cost. He then proceeded to order the parts and told me a 2nd visit would be necessary. Sasha came back 6 days later with the parts, installed the door lock and performed another thorough check. Once the door lock was installed he said that was the issue the whole time and the pump wasn't required. I saved approximately $150 (that was just for one part...SMH!) and the machine machine works great. Sasha is detailed oriented and very knowledgeable. I will definitely use their services again!

Keith came over very quickly and fixed the problem immediately. He was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. I was very impressed with the service overall and would use Mr. Rooter in the future.
