Very happy with the service received by Roman. He was out to assess our stove in 1 day and quickly found out what the issue was. A new heating element was ordered and within a couple of days he was back. It was a tricky repair that required the stove to be taken apart but Roman was a true pro. Very polite and considerate.

Dima arrived and quickly assessed the issue. Gave me the quote and quickly started to repair my dryer. He was very quick and very friendly and professional. Will definitely call in the future for any other appliance repairs and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you Dima!

Excellent service from Fix Appliances in Ottawa. Response time was fast. Viktor did a great job repairing my 10-year-old G.E. electric smooth-top stove. He was very transparent as to the cost of the new parts needed and he clearly explained what was needed and why. The parts arrived quickly. His service was quick and very efficient. I would highly recommend Viktor and Fix Appliances for any large home appliance repair. Much better than having to buy a new appliance. I expect many more years of service from my stove. We called Fix Appliances to check our washer. They came out right away and told us what was the issue. We paid for the service fee, which was $90 (which would be deducted off our bill if we repair the washer through them). We agreed that we would like the repair to be completed. Over a week later and a phone call into the main office and we are still waiting. When we called the office 5 days later stating that we were told we would receive a quote for the repair by email the next day, we were informed that they had not received any information regarding our washer. I'm out $100 and have to call another company in. Not pleased with the service and will not call this company again or recommend them.

Nearly new over the range microwave had stopped heating food. I contacted the company (based on the strong Homestars reviews) noting that the magnetron was not working and could they have someone examine it in case there was a simple repair. Steve came promptly (two hours after the call), put a glass of water in the microwave turned it on and told me the magnetron was not working. This I knew. He did not do any further diagnosis, remove the panel to examine the appliance etc which I had expected he would do to determine if there was only a minor issue. He told me the magnetron would have to be replaced at a cost exceeding that of new microwave. He then recommended that should I want to replace it, I choose the same brand for the replacement - which seems a poor recommendation for an appliance that failed after 1.5 years. You can be sure I will look elsewhere for an installer for the new microwave.
