After installation, we had a leak. We have sent out numerous emails and phone calls to have it repaired. None of which have been returned. The roof is still leaking. We are very dissatisfied with the after care service and would not recommend this company to anyone.

The owner has responded to the review with a detailed explanation and has taken care of the work required at no charge .. I have expressed my satisfaction with the original work and that we want them to come back next summer to do a larger part of the roof .. Seems there was a former employee left with some responsibilities that he didn't fulfill while the owner was away on another extended Job... This was the cause of the lack of communication and dissatisfaction ... Jamie has been great and the company does great work ... We look forward to having Jamie and his team back next year to do more work on our home ..

My wife and I had a couple of sections of roof replaced earlier in the summer. The guys came out , they were great and informative. When the roof was completed, they mentioned that the drip edge needed to be replaced around the area of the roof they had replaced. They said they would come back and complete the drip edge later in the summer.. For the last month I have been trying to get them to complete the work they are supposed, they ever had the drip edge dropped off at our home and no one showed up to complete the work. Emails to the owner, the other staff go unanswered.. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to any one

one year ago we had our leaky skylights removed and shingled over. During last Saturday's rainstorm, we suffered a serious leak. I contacted Armour & they promised to come over Monday a.m. since it wasn't an emergency. They phoned to say that someone would be over by 1:00 p.m. which he was. They promised to have the roof repaired before the next rainfall. They worked until 7:30 p.m. & came back bright & early the next day to finish the job before the rain came that afternoon. They were courteous & efficient workers. So far so good, ie., no more leaking!

Great company and very professional. Quote came with specifications for the roof displaying the dimensions and work to be done with options that could be added. Everything was clearly explained and work was done very quickly. The crew was very informative and knew what they were doing resulting in a great looking roof. I would definitely recommend.

I am more than pleased to write this review. Jamie, Josh and their team were very professional and a pleasure to do business with. I found everyone to be honest, polite and hardworking. I'm very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and with the excellent service I received. I would recommend anyone wanting a new roof use their service.

I would recommend them 100%. Came to home quickly after contact. Staff was courteous, professional and well informed. Provided reasonable quote quickly. We would definetly recommend them for your roofing needs.

Honestly, I have conflicting opinions regarding Armour and seeing all of the glowing 10 reviews I wonder why my experience was so different (or was it; maybe my standards are set differently?). Regardless, I felt it necessary to provide a review just in case there are others out there like me.

First I will say, with the exception of how they surrounded my satellite dish with shingle instead of removing the dish and shingling underneath (which they said they would do), the roof does indeed appear to be installed excellently; so in the end I'm very pleased with the work completed.

However, getting to that point was slightly frustrating for me, and the company became 100% unresponsive after the work was completed.

From the first quote, these guys didn't seem to honor time schedules, reliability is a big deal for me. I always respect other peoples time and expect the same, time is money/valuable, and I'm sorry if my expectation on the company irritated them, this is the way the professional world works. To begin, they were hours late for the initial quote, no biggie right, anyone can be late once and they did apologize and explain the issue. However, on the day of the install they came 3-4 hours later that stated and even then, they simply dropped off supplies and vanished (without telling me they had no intent of doing the roof that day, which I found out hours later). Josh did apologize for this as well. But, then the next day when they were doing the install, they again arrived hours later than stated (preventing them from finishing the roof that day I should add). In addition to this, emails sometimes were met with no reply, it took multiple attempts to arrange a time to pay the deposit, they didn't shingle color match when they said they would and instead had the installer show me the shingle for my OK on the day of the install!. I took time off and remained home for this, consuming my time like this was slightly disrespectful. But, as much as that bothered me, I'm still pretty patient so it wasn't enough to get under my skin to the point of irritation.

What did get under my skin was this; during the install they shorted my satellite dish (nail through the cable). In the end, this did cost me an additional $75 +tx with Bell (not to mention more of my time) to get the issue resolved, and even after multiple emails to Armour, they eventually did say they would pay for it however, that was weeeeeks ago now and I've long since given up. In addition, they left supplies at my house which they said they would pick up but, they never have. Yes, this was another $30 for a dump pass so I could dispose of it. It's only $100 or so dollars in additional cost, and more of my time but, it's the principle of the matter not to mention my biggest concern of all. If ever there is a failure in the roof, will they actually honor their warranty?!

So yes, the install looks great, I believe the work was well done. However, reliability and respect issues wouldn't have me recommending them to my friends or using them again in the future.

Update: After posting my review I was contacted immediately and reimbursed for both the satellite and dump expense. Much appreciated. I do need to note however, there was only sun the week my roof was to be done and the roofers themselves upon leaving the materials at my house asked me to place them in the garage (so no one would take them).

I had a problem with my roof where I had lost some shingles. Josh came over on his day off to fix my roof as it was going to rain that weekend. This was greatly appreciated and very good customer service josh went way above and beyond to provide his service. Thank you again and I will be sharing this story with my nabours who have the same problem.

We had a great experience with Armour Home Solutions. Jamie and Josh made us feel like their top priority and were very helpful and knowledgeable. They left the workplace spotless and completed our roof ahead of schedule. We would recommend them to any of our friends and neighbours.

From the original quote to the end product we have nothing but good things to say about Josh and his company. They were very professional with the installation and cleanup. We would most certainly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof. With all the horror stories you hear about the roofing business you can TRUST this company to do a great job at a fair price.
