Louis responded very quickly (on a Sunday even), found the opening and blocked it with a one-way trap, and returned a week later to close the opening permanently. A few squirrels sniffed around the former opening for a day or two, but I haven't seen any since. Problem solved. Louis even came back a week or two later to ensure that there were no problems.
