We hired Vertex Roofing to complete a roofing job. The owner came with his workers about 4 to 5 men and they replaced the shingles on the roofs of the garage and main house. This was 3 years ago. They did this in one day, a Sunday. Today April 2020, the nails are popping out of the shingles which I had bought brand new. The shingles are also flying off the roof. There is a leak in the roof which has wet the rafters and insulation and now has caused my ceiling to deteriorate where the stucco shows signs of water stains etc and the paint tapes are unsealing inside the house. The new roofers said that there is still a layer of old shingles underneath the top one, there is no new underlayment, ice and water shield, vents are not fixed properly, valleys are incomplete with aluminum metal and the flashings are not done properly. Do not hire this company in Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara, Thunder Bay or anywhere. It is too late to sue this company in court.

Initially everything seemed ok. Now I have a problem. Six times in the past six weeks Nuhan has promised to come on a certain day and doesn't come. Doesn't call and doesn't return messages. The 15 year warranty on workmanship means nothing..

I initially hired Vertex to fix an area near the chimney as I had a leak. He warned me that I would need a new roof, and they were right. They came back, free of charge, to fix it again, At that time I booked them for a new roof. Nuhan and his workers do excellent work. They are polite, arrive on time and clean up their mess. I would not hesitate to recommend them and already have.
