Boyd General Contracting

I've used Boyd General Contracting several times, most recently on a full gut job of my own home. They work quickly, efficiently and are the cleanest drywallers I've ever met. Their prices are always very fair and they are always reasonable when it comes to changes in scope and schedule. I will definitely use them again and recommend them whole-heartedly.

We hired the Boyds based on the reviews on Homestars to drywall the ceilings in our living room and dining room. We pulled down the old plaster in the living room but left it up in the dining room so they had the joy of two slightly different installations! They also had to contend with twelve newly installed potlights.

We have had three large drywall projects before (a kitchen and two separate renovations of our basement) completed by other contractors so we are familiar with the process. This was by far, the absolute best job we have ever seen.

The Boyds were professional, friendly and very organized. The job was completed in three days and was perfect. What was most significant was how clean the job was. On each of our previous renovations involving drywall, we spent hours trying to dust the new ceiling/walls in preparation for painting and weeks trying to
rid the rest of our house of drywall dust which always manages to permeate into even the most obscure corners of your house. But this was not the case with the Boyds. The ceilings were ready for paint from the start and courtesy of the most diligent installation of plastic by Brandon, there was not a speck of dust anywhere else in our house.

It was an absolute joy to work with the Boyds and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone else.

The Boyds were sub-contracted by another contractor to work on our basement - and it was certainly a happy accident! As other reviews stated, they were professional, courteous, incredibly tidy, and clearly take pride in their work. They spent a lot of time remedying issues that they inherited from other contractors and we really appreciated their time and effort - especially because we've become a bit "contractor shy." They restored a bit of lost faith and we are very happy with where things ended up!

These guys are hard working, dedicated and extremely skilled in all fields listed in their profile. I was 100% satisfied with how the job turned out. Fair priced and friendly service. I used Bobby and Brandon to frame and drywall my basement. I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone. They offered great suggestions to the design/layout that worked out great. they kept the job site extremely clean at the end of each day which was much appreciated. overall they did a great job on the basement and we are very pleased with the work that they did!

The Boyd duo put up a wall for me separating my master bedroom and 3rd bedroom. They were fast, clean and efficient. They did exactly what I wanted in the short time I needed it done. Highly recommended!

This will be the third time I have had the father (Obi-wan) and son (Young Jedi) team over to replace drywall during home improvements. I found Brandon & Bob at the last minute when I needed some urgent work done in my home due to unexpected issues found during what was supposed to be a minor renovation. They arrived to quote the job the next day. Their work was impeccable, their rates reasonable and they respected my home where they were working (unlike many other trades I've had here).
