Avenue Road Masonry

My 1940s era chimney was in bad shape. I called Avenue Road Masonry for a quote and Chris came the next day. He spent nearly 30 minutes with me during our initial consultation taking drone photos and patiently explaining the various options. He followed up with a quote the next day and pricing was very reasonable.

We ended up doing a full rebuild of the top 9 rows of brick, grinding out and tuckpointing the remainder of the chimney, laying a precast concrete cap, replacing top flue tiles, and installing animal screen hats. The entire job (including scaffolding setup) took 1.5 days and the two workers were very tidy and professional. The project manager Robert came to our site on both days to ensure we were happy with the job. Our chimney looks as good as new!

I am especially impressed with post-job follow through. We had a small issue with the neighbour and Robert managed all the communications even after the job was complete, negotiating a favourable outcome for all parties. Most contractors would have left us in the wind, but Avenue Road Masonry followed through all the way until the very end. We will definitely use this company again.
