Sean was recommended by the bathroom contractor we hired. He built a custom bathroom vanity for us. Sean was very helpful in the design and materials selection. He suggested we meet at a suppliers showroom where we were able to view and select our walnut sheet! He's easygoing and listened to our ideas and gave excellent creative advice. He's quite conscientious and was always quick to reply to calls or emails. Sean was reliable and completed the project on time, which wasn't the case of the general contractor. The vanity is stunning, it's the item that's the highlight of the bathroom.

Sean built us a great bookcase for our office which required different dimensions than what you can get at any store. He listened well to our needs and desires and helped to design a great bookcase. He was very professional and quick on the build and delivery. We will definitely be using him again for a few other projects that we have in mind.

We recently downsized to a condo in Ottawa. Having enjoyed two fireplaces in our previous home, we were interested in having a fireplace installed in our new condo. We had a fireplace insert but needed a fireplace cabinet built around the insert in a relatively small space. Our daughter gave us the name of a cabinet maker who had done very good work for her. His name is Sean Saley (613-838-9663) and ultimately, we retained him to do the job. Sean did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. I would strongly recommend this highly skilled craftsman to anyone interested in having custom cabinets built, especially when space is at a minimum.

Sean made custom built-in cabinets and a vanity in our bathrooms as well as custom shelving in a hallway. He listened well to our ideas and offered great advice so that the projects turned out really well. He meets his delivery commitments and is efficient and clean in his work. Most recently Sean Saley made two new bookcases for our condo apartment. A couple of years ago we had had Sean design and make for us a bookcase/filing cabinet and a large desk for my office. Now, as earlier, Sean was able to design the pieces according to our ideas and to fit the spaces available. Not only did he produce attractive furniture at exactly the cost and the delivery time that he promised but he came back as needed to help set the pieces up. When we recently moved from a big house into an apartment, he was willing to come and take apart for the move the bookcase and desk he had made earlier and then put them together after the move in the new place without any extra charge. He is always courteous and absolutely reliable. We are certainly happy to use his services and advice again.

I am in a condo with a small open-concept kitchen. I asked Sean for a pantry cabinet for more storage space. He finished it in less than two weeks, built it exactly as I had imagined, matched it perfectly with the existing cabinets, for a reasonable price exactly as estimated. It looks amazing. Sean was always easy to reach, friendly and helpful and even put up with keeping the large cabinet at his place for weeks until renovations were done at my condo and I could get it installed! One of the best experiences I have ever had with home renovations.

Over the last 5 years Sean Saley has worked with me on several different projects of various scales. In 2009, Sean was referred to me when I completed a gutting and full renovation of my home. Sean completed all of the wainscotting through the house and the fireplace surround and mantle. The work was done on schedule and budget and the quality was excellent. Approximately two years later, Sean completed a full wall, floor to ceiling of dining room cabinetry which was exactly what I had pictured. In 2014 I had Sean build a full master bedroom furniture suite including full bed frame and headboard with underbed drawers, a cabinet and side tables. Again, the finished product was exactly what I had pictured in my mind, on budget and schedule. Sean is an excellent craftsman and I love all of the work that he has done for me over the years. Sean is professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for either built in renovation work or stand alone pieces of furniture.
