When we opened our doors in 1989, Founder and Master Plumber, Jeff Wright set out with the goal of helping homeowners in the greater Toronto area with their residential plumbing needs. Providing value for the customer with a respectful, professional, and quality service approach has always been his top priority from the start.

Several years after we started The Great Plumbing Co., industry was booming in the GTA and we saw an even greater need outside the residential plumbing space. Thus, we shifted our attention to provide general contracting for local business owners. Fast forward to 1999 when we took the opportunity to become involved with the city’s development, providing CCTV inspection and cleaning of large diameter sewers.

Leaking Toilet

Had a leak coming through the dinning room ceiling. Two toilets are back to back upstairs, one in the main bathroom and one in the master bathroom and the wall separating them. Since both are so close together it was hard to differentiate which one was the leaking toilet.

Called the great plumbing Co and booked and appointment. Jeff arrived early morning the next day. Not bad at all considering I called new years day and it was short notice being the busy time a year on the holidays.

Didn't take him long at all to figure out which one was leaking. The toielt I thought was the leaking one wasnt. He sharred a little knowledge of how to diagnose which it was with a few tricks that may seem simple after he shows you but I definetly learned a thing or two from him in the process.

Very professional, friendly, respectful and Informative at a price that is fair.

The main water valve was leaking. I didn’t know a plumber so I checked this website and my first call was to The Great Plumbing Co. Jeff was great, he was very professional. I would strongly recommend him.

We had a major clog in our main floor powder room, a blockage of unusual proportion - that no amount of plunging could loosen - and Jeff came to the rescue! He was absolutely lovely to deal with - friendly, fast, efficient - and most importantly - fixed our issue promptly! Would use him again without a second thought.

Jeff Wright from the Great Plumbing Co., is a pleasure to deal with. He found the issues quickly and fixed them within a very reasonable amount of time. Two days after there was a small issue with the washer under the faucet which was installed and he came by and fixed it as a courtesy call for free. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone.

Mystery Leak Solved

Water was pooling in our basement under the subfloor. Jeff pinpointed where the leak was originating and repaired a drainage pipe behind the drywall. His instincts also pointed out that there was something wrong with the kitchen sink drain upstairs that led to the pipes downstairs, and with some persistence, he was able to clear the blockage with the power snake. Everything - from making the initial call, to having Jeff do the repair, to having the work explained to me and then billed - was seamless and professional. I would highly recommend Jeff.
